   There were 3 of us, my sister and her daughter, who had previously booked a table. Table service was excellent, and we only had a short time to wait after being seated to take our orders. We decided to order online using the Marston's app, as it was easy to use and easy to pay for also. The food arrived within a reasonable amount of time and was top quality. We visit the Dapple Grey every year around Christmas time as well as during the warmer months. I will recommend the Dapple Grey to anyone who is looking for a good location to visit, as the nearby shops are very handy and save having to park in two separate car parks if out shopping.

   Lovely food, you have a lot of choice of what to eat . Me and my partner had their fresh pizza and you can also see it being made. Definitely would recommend this pub/restaurant if you are looking for anything to eat. Also staff are lovely but unfortunately there was only two of them working so seems a bit under staffed but the staff that were there were lovely and helpful.

   Enjoyed the food, the staff were lovely, it would be a five star if they had air conditioning, we were melting even with all their doors open and hubby has a small fan. Also the large Pepsi was rather pricy.

   We stayed locally in Uttoxeter and the hotel had no restaurant. So we tried the local Dapple Grey pub. We loved it so much we came back the following night. Yes the food is good quality standard pub fare, yes the beer is stored well, the Pedigree was lush. But what really made it 5 stars was the staff, especially Ant. They are sooo friendly and despite being a Marston chain pub it had the feel and vibe of really friendly local independent pub. You can tell who the regulars are as they are greeted so nicely. Great atmosphere and the kids loved it!

   Chain pub, good location near a retail park. Feels welcoming with a good sized bar and plenty of places to eat, outside tables are available but are next to the road which is noisy. Menu was good and well priced. It's not table service but the staff were great on my visit.

   Staff pleasant.We ordered at the table and the service was good. We did not have a long wait for either course. A bit disappointed by lack of Sunday roast but we did manage to bag 2 of the last beef. My broccoli was hardly cooked at all - couldn't cut the stems! but everything else was very nice and the lads all enjoyed their burgers

   A really nice pub to visit very spacious so you don’t feel like your sitting with another family you don’t know, a warm and friendly welcome, i never expect a lot from chain pubs through some bad experiences but gotta say the food here was lovely

   After a terrible experience elsewhere as a party of 9 (birthday party for two of our guests) the Dapple Grey managed to squeeze us in last minute on a Sunday. The staff were extremely welcoming and very attentive. Food was delicious especially the freshly made pizzas. Nicely decorated rooms with table service. Family friendly and only downside was limited parking next to the pub but plenty of parking on the retail park opposite.

   Friendly and cosy pub serving a 2-4-1 vegan menu with lots of options. I had the tasty fishless fish and chips with mushy peas and my partner had the lush sweet potato tagine with pilau rice.
