Good atmosphere, good beer and good prices. Always worth making this pub the first and last stop on your journey around Uttoxeter.
Watched the fury fight & the place was packed but it's a good pub with nice folk in, the bar staff were swamped but tried their best to serve as quickly as possible, loads of screens to watch big sporting events & a nice cooler outside area.
Large sports bar with several TVs, just off market square in Uttoxeter. Also has a pool table. Visited on a Sunday to watch F1 when it was a big football day. I asked if they were showing the race and they put it on a small TV for me away from the main screens, very accommodating and friendly staff, highly recommended if you want a sports bar.
Only visited to drop off my autistic son for an event being held by Gateway Uttoxeter. Used the car park for 14 minutes to keep my son safe and a few days later I received a letter from Parking Eye with a fine for £100 !! Obviously I have challenged it but now have to produce evidence of my visit to validate my challenge. Not very happy as nobody said you had to submit your details to the staff to avoid the charges. Was a dark , wet and windy night and my focus was on getting my son inside safely
Pretty standard dusty sports bar. Great selection of crisps. Oh, and loads of old, white, racist men.
Not sure if bar staff or owner but made very welcome. Only criticism would be no outdoor music but not for everyone. Service definitely 5 stars
Grat friendly pub. Landlord is spot on for his customers. Showing sky sports and bt sports which is a bonus for a football fan. Pleasure to visit.
