   I’m truly amazed and incredibly grateful for what David has done—how he managed to restore my son’s cherished Newbury bat is beyond me! This was an expensive bat with a crack, and now it looks absolutely brand new. Thanks to David’s incredible work, my younger son can now enjoy it too.    We can’t thank David at XX Cricket enough for such an awesome day. The boys are beyond happy with the whole experience and everything about David, the place, the product and service is just what I wanted to give them for Christmas. David has made a couple of young cricketers very happy! Prince the Spaniel was looked after as well and crashed out in the car on the way home so he had a fab day! Thanks again David for an incredible experience and we will make sure we pop in when we are in the area again.

   I took my 11 year old son to see David in his workshop, as he had asked for a bigger bat for his birthday. David is extremely knowledgable and very welcoming. He spent a great deal of time asking questions to ensure the bat was just the right size/weight. Watching the bat being made was fascinating. My son loved the whole experience and asked if he could just return to chat with David another time. Very highly recommend. Fantastic service from start to finish.

   I took my Son to see Dave and help get him a suitable Bat. The service was outstanding and we are delighted with not just the bat but the overall advice and direction Dave provided to ensure that we got the right type of bat. Starting from observing the batting stance and how my son played a few shots Dave was able to understand the weight and balance that was needed. He machined the bat whilst we waited then started to refine the appearance and get the finishing touches which included unique bat transfers and engravings. If you want to be treated like a county player and get the best value for money make an appointment with Dave and you will definitely not be disappointed. Why people buy from shops is beyond me when you invest in such an importance piece of equipment. Once again, sincere thanks Dave!
