I had a vet appointment for one if mt kittens, so I got on the bus to hollingbury. The vet was very kind, considerate and professional. I am based with their service. I also bought some trea5s for the kittens, while I was waiting. The shop has a large variety of products for dogs, cats, rabbits, and aquarium fish.
I wouldn't normally think of buying fish from a pets a home, but they had some cheap ones i thought i would give a try, however the (grumpy) member of staff wanted my full name, address, email, phone !?! i suggested it was data mining (spam etc) he said no so i asked why , he said it was so they had my details to contact me !!?? As i didnt want spam / marketing from pets at home i told him to forget it..... Buy cheap low quality fish and give them all my personal detail ? Nope.
Staff are kind and helpful, Last time I was there, there was a mismatch between the price of an item listed on the shelf, and the actual price on their system, but they sorted it out quickly. They're not the cheapest for pet supplies/accessories, but it's nice to have a large branch in town, open 7 days a week, and the special offers on their app sometimes actually saves you some £££, worth checking it out.
I really don’t see how these tanks can be anything but hospital/ quarantine tanks for aquatic life. So shame on you pets at home for teaching children that it’s okay to keep fish in such tiny environments. Especially the tags they’ve put are so inaccurate and shows they care more for making money than they do about their aquatic life. Honestly so disappointing from a pet store.
Great store! As first time pet owners, me and my partner were nervous about getting a pet even though we really wanted one. Having our hearts set on guinea pigs we spoke to members of staff who were extremely knowledgeable, caring and friendly who had a genuine passion for the welfare of the animals. Ended up with two guinea pigs, a hutch and everything they needed for a reasonable price and will the knowledge of care which was needed. Great place for people wanting a pet to ask questions but also just to see some cute animals!!!
The vet here is really nice. She shows love for animals and gives excellent advice. Prices are pretty good compared to ebay and amazon, and you can get advice and support from the staff who are all friendly and very per orientated. Our kitten recieved a lot of positive attention that was truely genuine.
Excellent selection of items for all pets. Cats love the pop up caravan and the treats are excellent for hiding medication in. Staff are friendly and helpful and plenty of easy parking.
Took my 14 week old pup in the store to get few bits for him. The staff were great! Welcoming very knowledgeable regarding different kibble brands & generally kind & respectful to myself & pup.
Fantastic customer service! We visited the store last Sunday and were helped by Harvey. He was so knowledgable about all the products and food we should buy for our new puppy. Also advised us on selecting food for our cat. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Staff are truly wonderful here. They all love working at this branch and it shows. Amazing customer care. Amazing vets . We're so happy we found this place . Love everything about it..
