Unfortunately it’s dated without self-checkout and limited staff on the tills. Very slow. The staff are nice which is why i have given an additional staff.

Upon arrival for my flu jab, which had been booked for many weeks, they had no vaccine, nor anyone who could even administer it. Very poor Boots, you should be letting people know (many were turned away).

Really, really shocked by my experience yesterday. Went in to try and pick up a prescription as I had completely run out but it wasn't there yet. So I asked to speak to the pharmacist to see if either, there was something they could do, or if there was an OTC alternatives I could buy in the mean time. He proceeded to patronise me, about my severe insomnia: 1). Asking me if I turn the light off before going to bed, 2). Saying I struggle to sleep because I'm not trying hard enough, 3). Saying I shouldn't need two sleep meds, as they 'do the same thing' (they in fact don't, one helps you go to sleep, one helps you stay asleep). Whilst I'll admit the situation isn't ideal I have lifelong, really bad insomnia. And at the end of the day he's a pharmacist with no access to my medical records, going to trust my GP who does have access to my records a little more. And yes weirdly in 32 years turning the light off and trying to sleep has occurred to me. What's even worse is when I contacted boots to complain, they've refused to help, just kept sending me the same automated email asking me questions I've already answered.

The last two times I have been in this shop has been disappointing. The first, I was followed by the security man because I didnt just grab an item and buy it within 5 seconds, and actually took my time to see if the products I needed were what I wanted. The second, I felt like I was told off because the staff had forgotten to lock the doors of the perfume cupboards and I had only picked up one bottle of perfume to see what it smelled like. Both of these times I was with my child, who was behaving. These incidents have made me not want to come to the store even less than I already do. However the staff at the checkouts were nice.

I come here once a week to collect my prescription. Unfortunately I feel the need to write this review as I feel I’ve been discriminated against because of my mental health. Often I’m early or confused about my medication and feel anxiety asking for help. I have received no help, just judgement and rude comments from the store manager Julie. I’ve heard the way she speaks to others and it has made me not collect my medication for fear of ridicule.

Unfortunately gone downhill alot, they don't prioritise people going in to get there prescriptions on the day they need them. Instead quote people a 30/40min wait to do other prescriptions why they don't just do them straight away and then continue with other prescriptions is beyond me and this is when I'm the only person in there many times it shouldn't take that long, thats what other pharmacys do, even then it can take upto 4 to 5 days for them to process electronic prescription. I tend to ask for the prescription now and take it to trinity as they do it straight away don't even give you a waiting time there so quick and efficient. The staff are great in boots now they got rid of a couple of rude ones. So it's a shame.

Feel so sorry for pharmacy team who are always polite but big queues whenever I pick up my prescription there is always either a delay or an item missing thinking of changing to another Pharmacy

Terrible, service, no one on tills and standing there for ages waiting as staff walk by and ignore you! Really bad, will pay a little extra and go to independent pharmacies in future.

I've been using this store for 25 years now and until recently, happily so. Now, amidst the ongoing staff shortages (wonder what's caused those everywhere - cheers brexiteers), the already unavoidably long waits at the pharmacy are compounded by a Saturday assistant who seems intent on ignoring any older customers ... and I was left waiting long enough to confirm it's old people generally and not me in particular. Having 'come back when the pharmacist was in' I was left waiting in vain for over 10 mins before joining the dispensing pharmacist's queue ... and waited another 10 mins (during which time another three older customers gave up and left) before a younger couple turned up .... and the "assistant" who'd been chatting in the background, studiously ignoring all us oldsters was over like a shot. 2 stars? Not an unpleasant demeanour when I eventually did get served ... or it'd have been one star. Life's too short to be treated like that, so I'll simply be avoiding the Saturday staff in this branch in future.

This pharmacy needs more staff or new management. Picking up prescriptions takes endless amount of time every single time! I'm moving somewhere else. Avoid.
