I can’t recommend Top Cat vets enough. Martin and all the team there are true cat lovers and are so emotionally invested in the welfare of the pets they take such great care of. We have spent a bit more time there of late as one of our cats was having some scans and diagnostic tests, with us fearing the worst, which was quite stressful for us. But the team were there every step of the way to guide us through the process with good communication and attention to detail. And fortunately this time, with a positive outcome. Thank you again Martin and team for the quality of care, service and overall empathy for the well-being of our cats. We won’t take them anywhere else in Brighton.

A pretty good vet choice for your cat. It seems quite expensive, but is actually the going rate. They can re-prescribe medicine without a consultation fee (£60). Henry is great; kind, patient and thorough.

I left due to numerous issues. The biggest one being this..I was told my cat needed to have a stool test done, I totally agreed.. however they did run off a load of scary things that could be wrong with him with lots of medications given. Irene vet informed me results would be about 10 days and they would phone me with results…after about 4 weeks of waiting I contacted vets to complain just a tiny bit. Irene phoned me and OMG, she was so so rude saying she had not told me it was 10 days, she then TOLD me to leave if I was unhappy , I just couldn’t believe how nasty this vet became ( and lying ) being that she had always been so lovely. I was horrified. I apologised for complaining and stayed another year. My cat was actually fine, he’d just had a tummy bug.. but cost me over £500 to find that out. So.. That experience, the constant second guessing and full price consultations on extra visits for the same issue, with constant variety of medicines being given because the first ones were wrong…which you are expected to pay for,, the lack of adequate protection for wounds so they take ages to heal because of licking And the extremely high bills due to the constant second guessing & return visits.is enough to leave. . I was with St Francis vets for over 25 years who was an amazing vets.. None of the above I’ve mentioned never happened there. However, all vets . can make mistakes but the rudeness and denial of any responsibilities on their side is now enough for me to leave this review. One positive note , the reception staff are lovely and the young male vet that works there had a lovely mannerism and is gentle & kind. However, I am concerned about their practise due to extreme second guessing , It’s not so much about the costs, it’s about the mistakes, ( the rudeness only happened once, but omg it was bad)

We recently brought our cat Grace in for treatment, and I cannot thank the team enough—especially Martin. He was incredibly gentle, patient, and understanding throughout the whole process. Grace had swelling in both eyes, and Martin took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure she was comfortable during her visits. Thanks to his care and guidance, her eyes have improved so much, and she’s now back to her happy self. It’s such a relief to see her well again. We are truly grateful for Martin’s professionalism and kindness, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for the very best care for their pets.

We have been going to this vets for nearly 20 years, and have only ever had outstanding service. Their breadth of knowledge proved invaluable with our cats and rabbits over the years.

Been a client of Top Cats for 15 years and always received excellent care. A particular shout out for Martin who obviously adores cats and treats them all like his own. We've been through some very sad times and all the team have treated us with utmost care and sensitivity.

I toke our baby on Friday, and wow! They stayed open late just for us. Everything, from the lovely Receptionist lady who gave my little girl some sticker and was SO kind to the vet who was a legend and treated and touched Minnie like a baby. 10 out of 10 this end.
