My anxious dog had to go in for sedation and x-ray. Everyone was approachable. The Nurse Cara was so calm and kind that my dog even allowed her to place a cannula and was comfortable for the appointment. The very rang as promised to explain the results and a treatment plan. Lovely practice to deal with

The crew at Wilbury are great! Professional and friendly. My Romanian rescue dog is not the easiest to deal with and there have been challenges with her treatment. Throughout, the doctors and supporting staff have gone the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes with the least amount of stress for her—and me. Highly recommend.

Jo at Wilbury Vets saved my puppy’s life. At 6 weeks old, our Daisy became extremely ill - open flesh wounds started to form all over her tiny body out of the blue, and on top of that, she was lethargic, had swollen eyes, ears and mouth and developed a limp. We tried vets in the area but none knew what the issue was - they all sent us away saying there’s nothing they could do. When I found Wilbury Vets, they were able to see us on the same day. Jo went over and above for our Daisy trying to establish a diagnosis (which was not straightforward at all), including contacting the Royal College of Vets for their views. After a few appointments and rounds of medication, the suspected diagnosis was an extreme case of puppy strangles / juvenile cellulitis. Even though Daisy’s chances of survival were very slim, Jo never gave up on her. After many (and long!) months of treatment, Daisy made a miraculous recovery - and it is all thanks to Jo. Daisy is almost 1 year old now, and I am still in disbelief over the fact that she is with us - and I am forever grateful to Jo, as well as the amazing ladies in reception who were so kind and helpful during that heartbreaking time. Yes, Wilbury Vets may be slightly more expensive, but the service is truly premium and there is clearly a lot more expertise than at other, perhaps cheaper, vets. If we had not come to Wilbury Vets, Daisy would truly not be here today. So, thank you to Wilbury Vets for the happiest year of our lives, filled with unconditional love, cuddles and laughter ❤️

Our dog Maxi was reffered to Wilbury for an operation on his leg. Mr. Haggis and his team were great, very informative and we had absolute confidence in leaving him with them. Post op they have been great, easy to communicate with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Me and my partner are extremely grateful to Peter and the Wilbury team for everything they did for our cat, Eartha, who suffered a complex break which we thought might result in amputation. With Peter's excellent surgical work, she's gone from having such a traumatic break to being back to her old cheeky self again and, thankfully, has full use of her broken leg — you wouldn't know she'd done it! We felt constantly reassured by the team during the process — we honestly couldn't have asked for a better team and would happily recommend Wilbury Vets to anyone.

I have a rescue cat who unfortunately fell poorly after soon arriving. I registered with Wilbury Vets and got an appointment within days, only to be told she needed an expensive operation. Wilbury Vets took the time to explain this all to me, over weeks of questions and costing deliberations on my part. They were patient and the receptionists took messages to pass on for me, they always called me back . But eventually I decided to go ahead and 5 months later my cat is doing amazing. I wanted to say a huge thank you to ALL the staff at Wilbury from the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable receptionists,to the insurance team (who completed papers free of charge, promptly, and thoroughly - which I truly believe led to a successful claim), to our vetinary dentist Lucy. Yes, it's a slightly pricier vets compared to others in Hove, but I can honestly say you get what you pay for - an excellent surgery, with amazing staff, in a stunning calm and clean setting. A big thank you from our Gummy Bear Martha x

Absolutely amazing veterinary practice! My partner and I have had our cavaliers registered here for almost a year and they have been incredible from day one. They were so welcoming and accommodating when 3 little chihuahuas entered our family recently too! We have never had a bad experience here, and have always been so impressed with how friendly, understanding and warm everyone who works at Wilbury is - by far the best vets I have ever come across. Amazing customer service, highly professional and they always take the time to get to know your pets, as well as giving them lots of love and attention. Would highly recommend this vets to anyone.
