   I often see men staring at me and my friends who sometimes even report us to staff when we are simply minding our own business. A few rude staff members have singled us out for being younger than most people at the gym and treat us like children, talking down to us like a teacher on a power trip. The facilities are fairly good despite the small space.

   wasn’t a great experience tjere was no heating on in the hall it was freezing cold we had to keep our coats and hats on ! it has ruined my paints i have contacted them about it and as for the party i was shocked as they asked me to prove all my legal status ie PLI , DBS, RISK ASSESSMENT etc for me to turn up with my host who was also shocked i needed to provide all of that for a party !!!!! that’s more event information but anyways not impressed i got the half hour early and they only just started getting the party set up and then didn’t put any off the safety measures in place on the bouncy castles ( no sand bags or weights were used ) so the castles kept moving every time the kids were playing on them , i shocked that they had the audacity to make me jump through hoops when they don’t put they’re children’s safety over a quick buck being made they also didn’t look very clean like they hadn’t been cleaned in months and i know what i’m talking about as i all so hire out bouncy castles

   I joined primarily to use the gym. It is well equipped, never too busy and has a friendly atmosphere. The membership is good value. Overall I am very impressed.

   I have visited this leisure centre with my partner twice within the past few weeks and I have to say - I did not enjoy the atmosphere there whatsoever - absolutely horrible. On each occasion we used either the swim or sauna facilities and I have never felt as uncomfortable amongst a group of professionals in my life. I won't go into the finer details but I will say this much - I felt the body language of the staff there was questionable for a number of reasons. On the second trip, after having completed our session and exiting the pool we were approached by a young male lifeguard, I'd estimate around 21, who proceeded to interrogate us as to what age we were. He did not approach us politely - it was confrontational, accusatory and totally misplaced. We are mid 30s and late 20s respectively. Despite explaining to him that management had chosen to allow us into this session due to errors made by the reception team earlier in the day - even after accepting the reason why we were there - he persisted in interrogating us. I have no idea what this individual was insinuating by doing this - but it did not sit right with me. To any member of the management team reading this - your staff are inexperienced and need further training. If there are people in the pool who have been given special dispensation to be there at certain times, due to your own failures might I add, your staff should be providing effective handovers to each other when their shifts rotate - so all the relevant team members are aware. Honestly, if I could give you zero stars I would.

   Good gym, clean and with new equipment it should make it nicer. Bad you don't get a discount for being a member and wanting to use the sport hall.

   Value for price is great - £100/month for a family membership gives you access to gym, classes, swimming pool, sauna and 2 swimming classes per week for kids. Staff is helpful, equipment in the gym is not the freshest but is ok for amateurs like me.
