Gym is always busy but THE WORST PART is the spin class with the back doors open. I did a class and someone from outside was looking in and filming. They should keep the doors closed. Music was horrendous and instructor was terrible. Too loud. Just keep the back doors shut and lower the volume.

Great group class instructors, but that's about it. Steam room, sauna , air con in fitness studio been broken for weeks again! Definitely needs an update, it's very expensive membership which they keep increasing despite equipment constantly breaking down.

Cleanliness of the health suite & showers are pretty low. I have never seen cleaners in there. I’m interested to know, if any members have contracted any infections from using the suite & showers, especially recently? I’ve just read through past reviews. 6 years ago, people were complaining about the health suite, about how disgustingly dirty it was and, it still is! Why haven’t things changed? 6 years on and it’s still dirty and yet the price increases!

We took our 3 & 5 year old to swimming lessons for the first time and they were both in separate classes and both very nervous. The lifeguard Poppy was incredibly kind & so patient with them both, making them both feel more at ease and comfortable. She is an absolute asset to the dolphin & is an incredible woman. If you have nervous children when it comes to swimming lessons, I highly recommend the dolphin. Thank you to Poppy for your kindness and patience!

Amazing, massive leisure centre. Went for an annual tae kwon do competition with my boys. With international taekwondo Federation. Friendly staff, good the changing room and clean facilities.

Joined the gym a couple of months ago. Overall I like it, but in keeping with many gyms is the wasted time of youngsters perpetually transfixed to their phones! Frankly, if really ticks me off. 20 seconds of exercise followed by 4 minutes staring at a screen is unacceptable. Unless you're listening to music or follow a workout app you really don't need a phone in the gym. Management, please sort this one out; I'm not alone.

Well, its a council gym so that tells you everything you need to know about how its run. They refuse to book you in classes at reception (even though it has been done before and was incredibly straightforward), and instead direct you to download and book via their useless app, which is slow and inaccurate. The equipment is old and none of the staff really care about being there; I constantly see them smoking behind the building and talking about each other. A subpar establishment in its entirety

I used to go to the gym in London and loved it. Not so much here, though. The gym is full of treadmills, cross trainers, and bikes. Where are the ropes for upper body workouts, no stairmaster, and no bike that works the upper body simultaneously. The space for weight training is very small. The few weight machines are always bus, and the place to do stretches is too packed. I'm not impressed. On the other hand, the classes on offer in the centre are brilliant. Yoga, Pilates, Aqua fit, and bodybalance, to name just some, are worth going to. Health suite is okay. Could do with better cleaning. Love the sauna and steam room. Only drawback, when doors are not locked, anybody can come in, even if it is exclusively for members, who pay extra for it.

Absolutely love it here, I'm a teenager and just wanted a place that had a gym and a swimming pool where I can go on my own and with my family. It is very clean and the staff are exeptionally lovely. I had problems the first time I went because I didn't know how to work things and they were very quick to help me. What makes it better is that there is a cafe and a play area there aswell which can get a little noisy but not horrible. It is very secure you will need a pound to use the lockers (you get the pound back). Lovely place - do not listen to the bad comments because they are either just boycotting this place or don't know what a leisure center is. (ESPECIALLY the comment that complains about the shop - like " omg there's a shop that sells swimming gear in a swimming place how terrible ".

Well we have spend almost all day on a Sunday there and i have to say i will give 3 stars and the reasons i think is more than fair as the place is very clean and tidy is a bit out of date the reception are very nice and helpful but all those swimming gear right there in your face no cool is like you arw walking to a shop or a Leisure Center? The coffee cafe good and clean the car park well great and Sunday as we didn't need to pay but very confusing as it looks like are two types of car park and the signs of way out are run out of paint. The play cort well no enough air circulation as we have to opens the doors the cort well looks like no one have clean for a few days. Do i want to go back? Well personally not but if we have too as we was there for a tournament well have too
