Nice pub with a warm, local atmosphere and it offers some very large plates and good BBQ options if ur looking for it. The pricing is pretty normal and the food is very filling - the burgers and the smoke platters are very good. Defo worth a look if u dont mind going a little bit out of the way
Had a great meal the other night. Reservation needed as it’s very popular. Had the rump steak fajita and had to say it was just wonderful. Meat was tender and full of flavour, the ingredients to make your own wraps was spot on too.
Wow! This was what was uttered on serving the food. Huge portions of delicious food. From BBQ duck, Greek skewer, meat sharing platter, turkey roast dinners and burgers for the kids, we were all delighted. Bonus, for me, were the two Beavertown beers on tap, impressive ☺️
We visited the Fox for Sunday lunch, I will be honest, I had high hopes from the website. The reality was a pleasant country pub, we chose the sunday roast, 2 Turkey and one Beef, the Turkey was good the beef overcooked, the roast potatoes were great, not often the case in a pub! The Yorkshire pudding looked impressive but was a little burnt. The puzzle was the cubed beetroot, on a roast? The staff were friendly but lost interest once they had served dessert, we had to ask for coffee. In conclusion, it was a nice pub with reasonable food and friendly staff, the gardens looked amazing, it was ok and we will return to try the steak and burgers which looked fab.
After driving past a few times and wanting to try this place out I was surprised this evening with a birthday meal here! This place is 10/10 for not only the amazing food but the service too! The atmosphere was lovely and cosy, the seating so comfortable and overall it was an absolute fantastic experience!!
Just back from a lovely meal with our friends. The food was fantastic, bourbon chicken wow, creme brulle to die for. The steak was cooked to perfection, just brilliant and we'll definitely be back. Thank you to the staff.
What a lovely pub a bit noisy on the outside as its right beside the A140 But once inside a lovely quiet place to enjoy a drink and or a meal from their extensive menu ! Something for everyone however hungry you may be ! The staff are friendly helpful and polite Will definitely be going back Thanks to everyone at the Fox
Staff were all very polite and helpful, the food was very good and portion size was good too. We thoroughly enjoy a meal out there to celebrate a 30th birthday. The children's menu had a good selection and portions were also good sizes. Thank you.
