   Excellent service. I needed to replace some locks and Paul's advice helped me. Yes you may be able to buy online but Paul took the lock out of the box held it up to highlight an exact match. You don't get that from Amazon. I also had a need to return for advice and the after sales care was incredible. We need shops and people like this. Please support local experts before it's too late.

   Friendly place, but went in asking for coaxial cable and a couple of male and female aerial bits, and came away with electrical cable! Luckily it works as an aerial cable for small TV and I put the correct coax on my other TV which didn't like the 3 ply!

   The only proper 'iron-monger' in Shrewsbury. Odds are they have what you need. Helpful staff that consider problems and engage. Huge selection of screws, bolts, nuts etc available loose. Put E.B. Smith on your list of places to check and help support local shops.

   It's a delight to trade with this Ironmonger. (We have become so used to chain stores with staff who are less than knowledgable.) If you want exceptional service at very reasonable prices, you have it here. They rapidly sourced a new suite of handles for my flat, even during the floods, the delivery time impressed me. They also beat both Screwfix and B&Q on price!
