The apartment was very spacious with good quality fixtures and fittings. The owners were nearby to help when required with a friendly approach. There is plenty of space in the grounds for a stroll and to observe the wildlife. This was our third stay at the watermill, and we hope to return.
We stayed here for 4 nights with a few friends we stayed in Mill Race Cottage absolutely superb. James and Nick have done an excellent job with all the accommodation on this site and the grounds are fabulous as well as the communal games room and gym. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.Thanks for a great stay.
Stayed here in between lock downs with the family 8 of us. Cannot fault this beautiful place. Nick and James who own/run the properties are wonderful, It is clean well maintained with quality fixtures and fittings. Nick manicures the grounds and they are beautiful. The kids had great fun, canoeing and paddle boarding around the mill. Nick even put a ladder in so the kids could jump in/out and swim around the corner to give the fisherman some peace and quiet. A fantastic water mill setting for a delightful Norfolk-Suffolk holiday. An idyll with large grounds to wander in as well as a new games room for evening entertainment, Mendham Mill is a splendid place to have a family holiday. The guests are also permitted to take out the Mill's boats for excursions on the river. The rooms themselves are exceptionally comfortable and warm. The welcome could not be better.
Wow! What can I say it's beautiful! A work colleague and I stayed in the Millers House for 4 nights. Unfortunately we were there for work and not a holiday, we were greeted by James on arrival who was very welcoming and pleasant. The house was stunning, with every need thought out, from the fully fitted kitchen to the little added extras like books and games for you to use. I would love to come back in the summer and use the outdoor facilities ie the canoes! The grounds are teaming with wildlife which I could quite happily sit a watch as the day goes by. Absolutely stunning place to stay!
