We had a brunch here & it was delicious. I had the full English & my partner had a steak sandwich. Both of which were lovely.

Room 9 was very warm, there was a fan which we had on constantly but the room itself was unusually hot even when it was cooler outside. The included breakfast was missing pastries or bread on both days although the area had area jams, butter, tongs and cutting board. We were told they weren't available and the toaster was broken. No plug near the mirror for the hairdryer, we asked for an extension at the front desk but it never came.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, easy to park out back and undercover, nice beer, great entertainment and vibe in the evening. The room was so nice and the bed comfy. Only slight problem was the water pressure wasn't great but it didn't spoil our stay at all.

A very comfortable 3 day stay the bull hotel. Located on the high street that did not bother me I still slept well except on the Thursday night i was unwell due to leg pain and I was not disturbed in the morning. It has all local shops next door Tesco and boots. Check in and check out was perfect and the lady behind the bar who manages check in is friendly and patient. The gent and lady who are in charge of housekeeping are just amazing!!. two of the nicest people I have met really made my stay welcoming very polite all smiles.. thankyou. Water bottles provided My only small negative was bathroom tap and shower.. the water pressure on second day was little low and at small times off but after a short wait was okay. I would recommend this hotel to all. Lovely warm people clean comfortable rooms what more can you ask for :)

Stayed here as attending a wedding reception very close by. Excellent location with super parking. Lovely room and a comfortable bed. Breakfast fine but not a massive choice. Overall a very good choice of lodgings.

Nice vibe, good service but the cheddar cheese and hot chili toastie was way too heavy on the chili.

I've stayed here before pre Covid-19 back in February and it was good then. Now I'm totally blown away by the measures in place to make you feel safe. Tasteful partitions and social distancing measures clearly sign posted around but on blackboards so not too medical looking. My room is totally spotless and the lamb shank is quite simply the best I've ever had!! The staff are really relaxed and welcoming which certainly is a change from the big pub chains I could mention recently. I've really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return!!

Pleasantly delighted with this little gem! Was greeted very politely by the gentlemen who run the place, whom were keen to take care of everything and were very attentive. Classy pub with great home cooked food on the ground floor and 2 floors of beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms above. The pub is located right on the high street so be prepared for some road noise if you are on that side but there are rooms that face the rear of the building which will be quieter. Room was very nice and comfortable with clean fresh towels and a good sized bathroom. One thing which stood out was the selection of teas and coffees in the room, goods to see a nice herbal tea selection and decaf coffee for those who require it. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent value for money. It's a small hotel in a little village. The rooms have been refurbished and you can tell they tried to make it modern. Our room was really good size, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! You could help yourself with continental breakfast from the counter and you could ask for hot food from the menu as well. On the other hand they overdid it a bit with both flower decorated carpet and wallpaper. The bathroom floor was a bit funny material and had some stains on it, would have done better with simple tiles and the sink didn't have enough space to wash you face without hitting your head in the mirror shelf. But overall for what we paid it was really good.
