I visited the Boots store today to test a Clarins foundation and was made to feel extremely uncomfortable. A male security guard stood watching me closely the entire time, legs apart and hands in his pockets, as if I was doing something wrong. Applying makeup is personal, and his behaviour felt intrusive, aggressive and completely inappropriate. Customers should be able to test products without feeling scrutinised or intimidated. This really put me off the store. Do better.

Staff at the pharmacy had bad attitudes after dealing with more than 2 people and don’t look like they want to help and their pharmacist Ahliya turning customers away because of personal issues they’re dealing with whilst working

Not one to usually leave a bad review… Was served by a ‘Jean’ today 16/09/25 at approximately 12:44 Absolutely abysmal people skills, no greeting, no response to my “hello”, she made me feel like a complete inconvenience. She didn’t even look me in the eye. Very very bad vibes. Eventually she muttered “Boots Card” - not “have you got” or “would you like”; simply “boots card”. As soon as the receipt was given she continued a conversation about her nails to the other clerk. The immediate contrast in attitude/tone toward her colleague made me feel like a true burden I would implore the store manager to seriously consider asking this member of staff to sort their awful attitude out.

Had a wonderful experience with store manager Linda today when walking in around 5-10 minutes before closing time. I had an order to collect and no staff were available in the click&collect area due to close-down duties. On the way out I noticed a member of staff (Linda) and asked if there's any chance to still retrieve my order, she was incredibly warm and explained the staff absence due to the closing down of the store and assisted me despite the time (which had hit 6pm by that point!). Leaving today's pleasant experience aside, the store is always very well stocked and clean, I've always received great service and have been very satisfied. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Not what it once was, no records, pet food, home brewing departments, but pretty much what you would expect from a large these days under the current ownership.

Great store that sells a variety of items. I bought some Christmas gifts at less than half price. The staff were really helpful in helping me with some medication that I needed to urgently purchase.

Can't trust this branch anymore with the flu vaccine appointments. Last year they made me wait for over 45 min and this year they said the medical practitioner didn't turn up, so I now have to rebook the appointment and wait for another month! Staff couldn't be bothered to inform the customers....

Not impressed, went in for an aftershave for my son, stood around for 10 minutes and decided to go to the perfume shop, had a much better experience there.
