Family friendly, welcoming, Italian restaurant with plenty to choose from the menu though I found my well done stake over-priced.

We’ve been wanting to go here for a while as it always looked lovely from the outside and it didn’t disappoint. The food and service was excellent. I will be coming back here very soon! We paid £70 for two but had 3 courses and 1 drink each (me a Diet Coke and my girlfriend a cocktail at £8.50). I thought it was reasonable priced for the food and experience. My only slight criticism is that my main course said it had chilli in and I couldn’t taste any. But, that’s just me being picky as it tasted amazing. Fully recommend.

A gem in Reading! Best service I have had in the UK in years. Pizza was fresh tasting and with just enough firmness to the crust. Interior is nice and felt very welcomed by the owner himself.

Mother’s Day lunch for 7. We were welcomed by the team and seated quickly. The staff were really friendly and courteous and checked regularly we were content with the service . The food was delicious and we all had different options in the menu and everyone was more than satisfied. Steak was exceptional. Tiramisu was the best. Highly recommend

Food was nice and tasty, like homemade with care. But as someone who work in hospitality, I can say that they definitely need another front of house member. It was quite a busy evening and they only had 2 front of house and 1 bar staff, they were really good but not enough to cover everything. The place has a lot of potential, we'll be back soon for sure!

Had a wonderful family dinner here, staff are lovely and kind, genuine family feel and they are happy to help. Service is not super speedy, but we weren’t in a hurry so that didn’t bother us! Highly recommended, worth the trip. Sadly, whilst we were there a horrible family sat behind us and scammed the owner by lying about a tooth falling out after eating all their meals... They were after a free meal, they got up and stormed off with a bottle of wine in hand… This family run restaurant is well worth the visit, reasonable price, enormous serves. Support this local, independent restaurant ☺️

I really like this place. The food is good. The seafood was so fresh. And the texture of pasta was well done. It is quite authentic. Probably one of the best in Reading. I do hope our local community will offer them support. Need to improve on brightness outside especially in the evenings. It is not as apparent to people as it is at the corner, in front of a roundabout, so drivers won’t notice. It is also quite dark so there aren’t as many pedestrians to notice in the evening.

We had a great evening in this new Italian restaurant. As soon as you walk in there is a friendly atmosphere, the food is Divine. Freshly cooked and tasted delicious, they even make their own bread. I wanted to buy some and take it home it was that delicious. We were a party of ten with three young children, each dish arrived in good time and tasted exquisite. This the best Italian restaurant I have dined in and everyone agreed they will be returning very soon. We were accompanied by Italian relatives who were over for a holiday and they agreed it was like in eating in italy, a true authentic menu. . Complements to the chiefs.

We ordered from you guys for delivery tonight. It arrived 10 mins earlier than predicted and was genuinely delicious. My partner and I agreed that it's probably the best pizza we've ever had! And comparatively cheap! An awesome cheat day, thanks!!!

Wow, what a find. We visited Sunday lunch time and hoped that we could still use the garden and decked area as we use to when this was the Pineapple pub. On getting out of the car we were greeted by a warm “Prego” from Maurizio the chef. We were shown to an outside table, passing through the restaurant which had been decorated tastefully. The garden was simple, tidy and there was plenty of room between the tables so you didn’t feel hemmed in by other diners We went for the Chicken Marengo (a dish I had never heard of before but I can highly recommend) and sea bass, both so full of flavour and delicious As well as Maurizio’s warm welcome, the two waiters that visited our table were friendly as was the manager that came across to introduce himself and welcome us to his restaurant. As it was the end of the afternoon we were shown around the kitchen and met the “back room” staff, all in all, we were made to feel very welcome throughout Great food (the best Italian food I’ve had), great staff, a great feel to the whole place, this is a place we will be returning to often
