    The food was excellent and plentiful however the service was chaotic one person didn’t correspond with the other service was all over the place. Also the pub could do with a little TLC inside and out . Would i eat here again for food quality absolutely.

    Went last night for valentines meal. The food was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Very happy place to go. Dean is friendly and makes sure my gluten free husband is catered for.     We visited the coronation pub last week with some friends. We ordered three mixed grills and a gammon and chips. The mixed grill was brilliant lots of meat and great value for money. The gammon and chips were lovely also. We asked Daz to do us a onion loaf, which he did and it went down a treat. The food there is good and great value for money. Thanks Daz.     Once again an amazing culinary experience. Chris the host is very helpful and engaging as manager. A very friendly atmosphere with open fire and welcoming locals.Well behaved dogs welcome. The food is beautifully presented and again all home cooked on the premises. The Steaming Billy presents an atmosphere of relaxing calm almost like home with very comfy seating and a large sunny beer garden. You really can see the hard work that has gone in to this pub, very well presented. Well trained staff, warm welcome and excellent food and drink make this the place to be. Car parking, vegetarian friendly. Highly recommended.
