My family and I visited Durley Church (just around the corner) and decided to stop for lunch afterward. Unfortunately, despite the pub being empty, the welcome we received was unkind and uninviting. The staff’s body language, demeanor, and overall attitude toward us made us feel as though we didn’t belong. It was an uncomfortable experience and not an atmosphere we enjoyed. We stopped for a drink but ultimately decided not to stay or spend our money due to the rudeness we encountered. If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming environment—especially as an outsider—I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Booked a table for lunch by phone. Very polite and helpful lady took the booking. No wait when we arrived, and staff were very pleasant and attentive. Cosy old world pub, however it was rather cold. I had a jacket potato, which sadly didn't live up to their reputation for good food. It was undercooked and rather bland. The salad was a small amount, and not very adventurous. Filling was okay though. I realise it is only a small meal, but I expected better than a roadside cafe experience. The drinks were fine, and the prices quite reasonable. A shame really, and I hope that this was a one off. I can't praise the serving staff enough though, so still left a tip.

The Farmers Home is very good. Attentive service and good food in a quiet country village. The salmon and the prawn thermidor are both excellent dishes. My only constructive criticism is to say that some redecoration would help make it the perfect place for lunch.

I think this is a. AMAZING! restaurant with a variety of great and delicious food and drinks to a comfy and relaxed interior rolling out to a amazing back outside seating and a lovely park area. It really is a great place and I'm glad I have the ability to visit this wonderful place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 stars by far the best in DURLEY!

Had a table booked for a family celebration, table all set up nicely, service was good and the food was excellent. Staff were helpful and polite. Service all round was good. A nice size garden for children and dogs.

Nice place and location. We had a group booking of around 16 people for a Sunday roast. Beef, potatoes, Yorkshire and gravy were decent but four of us had to share a small bowl of cooked veg so had to ration it! Dissapointed as the veg was pretty good too. You'd think with veg being the cheapest ingredient, you would be ample supplied.

Thought the chop might come with some vegetables but no, quite plain for £18. Tables were packed together also. It was OK but really didn't make me desperate to return.

Very good location, easy parking and next to a farm -hence the name- the restaurant / pub has a large beer garden and a playground for the little ones. Service was excellent, attentive and all the staff interacted very well with our children. The food was great, though the king prawn Thermidor had three king prawns and loads of baby shrimp (?). Nonetheless, it was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Fabulous restaurant hidden away from the masses. Lovely service, great decor, very tasty food. Not the cheapest, but this is definitely a case of 'getting what you pay for' 10/10.
