I travelled out my area to get food tonight the chips are great and food lovely and fresh, staff always happy and helpful I even got a free fishcake (by accident but was told to keep it ) tonight ..thanks guys keep up the good work x
Clean and tidy takeaway, good served nice and hot, took us 10 minutes to get home and food was still hot when we got home. Staff are polite and friendly, we have previously used the other local branch so it was nice to compare. Would visit again if passing, would recommend.
Nearly 30 minute wait for 1 piece of fish, 1 chicken breast and a large chips! The premises was not that busy compared to other times. I've been using this location for years and now left very disappointed with the service. Very good product but not worth a 30 minute wait !
Phoned in advance to order several lunchtime fish and chip specials. Really friendly service, ensured I had the right salt and vinegar combinations, marking up the wrappings for when I handed them over. Food was very tasty with several questions on where I'd got the fish and chips from. Lunchtime specials were just the right size for the adults. Parking outside is very easy. Revisited today (Nov '23) and excellent service and food once again. Thanks to the staff. Revisited again (Mar '24) still the same good level of service, thanks.
Travelling through NB to see a friend, and stopped off for a bite to eat. Rewarded with a tasty lunch time portion of fish and chips. Plenty of seats outside.
Not sure how this place is highly rated the quality of food is terrible, the chips were re cooked and not very nice to eat at all, burger was basic burger van burger, chicken strips were dry and bland and the Mexican chicken rap was very bland too. With the way resturants and takeaways are now on food quality they really need to step their game up. Service was fine, very friendly. Only reason any stars are given. Can't say I would go back.
My local chippy, great food and quick friendly service. Unfortunately they close at 9pm
Been in a handful of time and each time it's quick service, food still hot when I get home and accommodating for children to eat from there as well.
Very quick and efficient service by friendly staff. Extremely large portions of chips and the fish had a very light and crispy batter.
