   This was my first visit and very impressed. Alex our waiter for the evening was outstanding, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the venison, bacon, and pickled onion home pie with vegetables which was nicely presented. plenty and delicious, followed by a fantastic cheeseboard with grapes and chutney. It was great to dine at a restaurant where nothing seemed microwaved. Great choice on the menu. Look forward to going back and certainly will. Highly recommended.

   Lovely place. Only 2 minutes drive from my office in Twyford, so I decided to meet up with my boyfriend and our Alsatian for lunch. The people working there are lovely and the food is delicious. I especially love the decorations in the outdoor seating area - beautiful flowers everywhere + plenty of parking spaces

   We had a great experience at the Horse and Groom in Hares Hatch. The food was excellent – fresh, well-prepared, and good value, considering the location. Sitting in the garden on a winter’s evening was lovely, with a relaxed atmosphere. The only downside was the service, which was a little slow and inattentive, particularly given it was a quieter Thursday evening. That said, it wouldn’t put me off returning. Overall, I’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the local area – it’s a great spot for a good meal in a charming setting.

   Book a table online in advance to avoid disappointment. However worth a try if an Impulse visit. Lots of parking, roomy restaurant, garden seating. Yummy menu with good choice for all ages. Service efficient and friendly. Manager roams and ensures customers welcomed and comfortable. Really worth a visit if in the area.

   Good local pub and restaurant, great selection of beers and wine, price's are competitive with other chains, however sometimes with the food you don't get what the menu states, I ordered a light lunch of Coronation Chicken on flatbread with roasted almonds, what came from the kitchen was chicken with a tasteless mayonnaise sauce on the flatbread with lettuce and spring onions, no roasted almonds at all, not the traditional Coronation Chicken that is so tasty. overall the service is good and the staff are friendly. 8/10.
