Scammers and completely unprofessional. I booked a reservation with a 20% dine-in discount, but when I called to confirm, the staff refused to honour the discount. They kept cutting my calls, avoiding the conversation, and were extremely rude. The staff clearly don’t know how to speak proper English or communicate respectfully. Before running a restaurant, please learn basic hospitality ethics. This place doesn’t even feel like an authentic Indian restaurant — stop ruining the reputation of Indian cuisine for the sake of business. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here earlier in the week, and wow, what an experience. A huge cut above the usual Indian restaurant. The building is beautiful, and historic as it was the toll house for the pier. A very spacious dining room with beautifully presented tables. The menu is extensive, and the food is excellent. We tried the stuffed puri starter, which were a meal in themselves, and then the roasted venison and the water buffalo curries. Both were really tasty, and with plenty of meat in the dish. The meats were so tender that they literally fell apart as you tried to cut them. Service was attentive without being over-bearing. The prices were very reasonable, and I'd certainly eat there again if I lived locally. A really enjoyable experience.

We went for the first time on 24/9/25 after the Boat Show and we were blown away by the whole experience. Better than any traditional Indian restaurant - bright, stylish, spacious, very clean & a real quality feel to the whole place, including the loos. We met the manager Amen who has got it running like a well oiled machine with the staff all really motivated and friendly. She speaks about 5 languages which caters for all staff and she’s only 24! Food was superb and plenty of it. Proper table cloths and cotton napkins. Wine list also very good. Overall, the value was exceptional - I would have expected higher pricing so this was a great find for us. Definitely going back.

Decided to pay an impromptu visit here tonight whilst visiting family in Southampton. I can categorically say this is the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. The curry had so much depth in the flavour - not just full of spice - and the lamb so tender, honestly amazing. The staff were attentive and helpful and made us feel welcome - great service. All for a reasonable price too. We don’t live locally, nor come back to Southampton too often, but will certainly be coming back to this fantastic find when next in the locality - and will ensure we recommend to local friends and family! 10/10!!

The food was amazing and wholesome like a home cooked meal. Lovely decor, great cocktail and the owner can round to say hello while we were eating. I will definitely be coming back.

Gorgeous place with such a luxury atmosphere and service coupled with delicious food. Everything was lovely. I went here with my work team for our Christmas dinner (bit belated) and everyone adored it. I really recommend especially for big groups! The booth tables are fabulous. All the servers were attentive and also looked very nice as they had formal attire- one even helped us take a picture which we really appreciated! Overall great experience- I will be back again soon!

Really excellent food. We had samosas and tandoori chicken starters and then chicken dhansak and butter chicken mains, along with egg fried rice and garlic naan. The naan was put of this world, possibly best I have ever had, I could eat it all day non stop. The butter chicken was also interesting, and as a person with a nut allergy I really appreciated that the kitchen could accommodate my needs and go out to the way to make it nut free. The atmosphere was not great unfortunately and that is why I am not rating higher. I did not like the music, and there was a lot of noise, it felt very busy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They originally made a mistake and charged us extra items that we had not ordered bur fixed it immediately when we pointed it out. I would go back, but there is definitely room for improvement.

We had such great time on new year eve 2023. The service was flawless, with delicious 4-course dinner. We particularly enjoyed the dessert and more specifically the carrot pudding. There was a live music, followed by a DJ and a brilliant finale of stunning firework. We totally enjoyed the night. This is a highly recommended place.

From the moment we walked though the door the experience was out of this world the staff are warm and friendly and happy to help. The food was one of the best I've had in Southampton and will 100% be back. The owner was so friendly adding that personal touch, walking us out and waving us good bye. 5 star service all the way.
