   Large, clean restaurant location. Never thought I'd be giving a five for an Ikea restaurant atmosphere score, but you get to see the cruise ships outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place was generally clean and in good condition. Just a slightly wobbly table. Good value nutritious breakfast that is hard to beat. Fun that it has black pudding available too, even though it's an add-on. Don't forget that the first half hour of opening you get free coffee and more later if you are an Ikea family member.

   It's like what a school kitchen should be - good quality healthy food at a reasonable price. Yeah you serve yourself, may need to queue and it can get quite loud with all the crowds but I'd still go again whenever I'm in Southampton!

   Not only the best place for meatballs but there are plenty more healthy and tasty options. Don't forget your family card that will give you discount against certain dishes and during weekday also free coffee. The restaurant in the Southampton branch is on the top floor with the waterside view to the Solent. The restaurant also offers a good view of the cruise liners on the days when they are docked.

   What you may call ‘cheap and dirty’. Definitely the cheapest restaurant in Southampton, although it’s not a proper restaurant of course, but a simple socialist-style canteen. Everything is cheap. Food is all right, quite tasty Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, chips, cheesecakes, good salmon and salads. Splendid cinnamon buns. ‘Restaurant’ is VERY roomy and has fascinating views over Southampton port and cruise terminals, so you can see many cruise ships from huge windows. And very close too. Access to the restaurant from 4th floor through the main entrance (very top) and then shortcut through furniture department. Yes I can recommend it, though you need to book your slot first via scanning IKEA QR code or online on IKEA website.
