   Atmosphere takes over anything else in here. The food is good, service also good and drinks slightly better. For something to be exceptional it takes extra care, this is somehow missing when you forget to add the chips to a steak, don’t have a wide selection on teas, don’t have enough staff and the venue seems rushed…room for improvement. Overall a positive experience with a nice easy booking service via Google.

   The food was okay, servings seemed pretty small. The cheese sticks tasted stale....the salad came without any dressing.

   DISAPOINTMENT is an understatement! We went here for a Xmas eve family meal, the bar was closed due to staff shortage? None of the other staff were trained to make cocktails, what a big letdown. The starters were fine and the service was the best it could be, with 3 or 4 staff out, and calling in sick on the day, you could feel the staff were rushed off their feet. I order a drink and poured it into my glass and to my horror the glass was filthy, I complained and asked for a disposal cup, I was not offered a new drink and I felt uncomfortable for complaining " What would you like to do?" I would have thought my drink would have been replaced after all I was been charged for it. Our mains arrived and what a disaster the prawns and, ribs were warm which is dangerous! Our steak was not cooked as we had asked for, with blood running onto our slate plates. We do not eat rare meat. The food was sent back and put under the grill, it still came out luke warm and still very rare, we asked for the food to be taken away and removed from the bill. We were so upset, our night was ruined. I spoke to the store manager and she was apologetic, but the damage was already done. We had my 87-year-old mother out with us which was taken into consideration. We were still hungry and we weren't offered an alternative. It was too late for us to find elsewhere to eat.

   Good food, nice staff, not many options for beer(only one lager and one pale ale, but the American lager was good). The ribs were yummy, the meat was tender and easily fall apart from the bone, non of the meat left on the bones. Rich sauce on the ribs and as a side, I really recommend the legendary glaze sauce(Jack Daniel’s). Plenty of space inside, outside just two tables.

   Super excellent place with THE best service one could ask for. Had my parents visiting me in Reading and we came here for dinner. The service staff (special stellar mention to Jennie in particular) were amazing - patient and accommodating, and went out of their way to make my folks feel at home. The food and the drinks were well-prepared and fresh. For a chain restaurant this place felt like a family-run business, full of warmth and personalised service. Cheers again to everyone working here. Will definitely come back!!!

   This is my first time at TGI Fridays and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience, the food was priced perfectly and the portions were a good size as well. The staff here were very kind and helpful with everything, they also were very speedy with getting our food out. Food quality was very tasty and looked very appealing. I would definitely come back here again.
