First time here tonight on a recommendation from my son. Amazing food, live music and lovely welcoming staff. Definitely will be back !
What a beautuful pub, the staff are so lovely,and service and food quality is great, we have driven past this pub so many times and not realising it was there tucked away yet offering so much. We walked through the door today and was immediately greated and warmly welcomed in, honestly it was fantastic finding such a genuine non corporate pub
We had an absolutely wonderful Sunday roast at The Sun Inn. The portion sizes were excellent, and the children’s meal was also very good — generous and well-prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Compliments to the chef — the roast was beautifully fresh, and it was clear that none of the food had been microwaved. It truly felt like a home-cooked meal made with care. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending The Sun Inn to friends and family

Great pub to have here in Romsey, food is brilliant. Very dog friendly. For dog owners, behind the pub is a walk way that leads to a huge field great for dog walking. Owner keep it managed which is great! Good route to walk your dog. As well as the pub being brilliant too and has a good vibe.

Had a lovely lunch here and a chat with the cheery new landlord. He seems to have some great plans with live music for the place moving forward. The food was very good. Wishing them all success with the plans for the future- the Sun will rock Romsey!
Had a wonderful time . The food tasted like food should taste. It was the best pie and veg I've had out . The portions were very generous and great value for money. Staff were very friendly and Molly , in particular went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely time . Will be back again.
We spend a lot of time in Romsey during the summer on holiday. We first went to The Sun Inn in 2021 and since then, we have been many times. We have had lovely meals each time and the staff are really friendly. We always order something for our dog too - when we are on holiday, we all go and enjoy ourselves!! Just some of the meals of what you can expect - including child and vegetarian. Would recommend.
