Staff was lovely and very attentive. Our server was happy to anwser any questions we had. I will come back again and am excited to try more from the menu!
Been here a few times and had nothing but great service and a good experience. Louis very knowledgeable on the wine menu and helped me find a new favourite!!
I’ve lived in Romsey for many years and have always wanted to visit this place for a bottle of wine. The sign outside clearly says it’s open until 5 p.m., so I went in at 3:35 p.m. to buy one. The man told me they were closed — even though people were still drinking inside. When I went back to point out that the sign said they were open until 5 p.m., I saw him serving other customers wine. As a brown person, I was made to feel completely unwelcome. It was obvious I was being treated differently because of the colour of my skin. This experience was not just disappointing — it was blatantly racist. I’ve never encountered such behaviour in Romsey before, and it left me feeling humiliated and hurt. No one should be made to feel this way anywhere, let alone in our community. He was still serving over people wine when I went in he just told me it’s not a bar mate what is that imposing.
This place is a true gem in Romsey. Great atmosphere, great service & an excellent menu, both food & wine. We might become regulars!
Have been here many times and always great food, atmosphere and service from Luc and Louis. Today my heart decided it didn't like me while eating my lunch and I'm told Luc and Louis were most supportive and helpful while also trying to carry out service to their other customer's. So a massive thank you to you both xx and we will be back for the cheese soufflé. Enjoy you're well earned holiday
Luc's is one of my favourite establishments in Romsey, family owned and operated by Luc himself and his son. Step inside and you'll feel like you've been transported across the channel. Luc has successfully brought a slice of France to Romsey where you can enjoy beautiful wines and delicious meats and cheeses.
I contacted Luc as I was after a specific cheese (one of my mum's favourite) and within a week they were able to get it for me. Very pleased and will definitely use them again. Thank you!
First visit to Luc's and it did not disappoint, booked for lunch next week Known Luc for many years he really knows the business an excellent selection of wine and food Recommended, but best to book it is very popular
