Very little parking. Went for a work Christmas lunch, but wasn't allowed to have the Christmas roast. The chicken sandwich was a chunk of cheap chicken breast with a bit of lettuce in a roll, with a few chips. No sign of the dessert I ordered in advance. Was the chef away?
We had a very tasty roast dinner and mini pudding but coffee tasted like uht milk used. Waitress very friendly, attentive and cheerful. Reasonably priced.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great little local pub! This pub has managed to keep its charming period feel, even though it looks like it’s been renovated at some point. The staff behind the bar are cheerful, welcoming, and have a great sense of humour. And best of all — as every good Wadworth pub should — they serve some excellent beer!
Fantastic! Jack & Maddi took great care of us from start to finish, Sunday roast was great and the round of dessert was unbeatable!
When asked where we could have a good meal ... they adviced The Bull ... the food was worth more stars than we can give. Staff was great and friendly. As said when we left, would return when passing through Theale again.
A nice find. Light, airy interior, with good service, a nice range of beers, and done very good food at decent prices. Seven of us had a variety of drinker and meals and everyone enjoyed what they had. One to visit again
Loved this perfect stop on our way to Wales. Easy access off the M4 and the best service I've ever had - truly. The ladies who served us were brilliant and the food hit the spot hands down. Definitely check into here again!
8 of us went to this restaurant today. It was absolutely flawless, the staff were very friendly and helpful (we had a tall man, who's name I can't remember), the food was delicious and catered to all including the children. The facilities were very clean and there was a very calm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend. We're going to make this our regular meeting place.

Sensational Sunday lunch I visited this lovely place for a Sunday lunch. There was a wide range of both meat and vegetarian options available. One of the very few pubs locally that have other vegetarian options such as chilli and curry, such a good find. I had the nut roast which was accompanied with potatoes, veg and a side of cauliflower cheese, it was delicious. The staff were very fast, super friendly and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. I will return!
