   The Red Lion is under new ownership and is clearly experiencing some teething problems, which I am sure they will solve. We had an absolutely delicious Thai meal followed by an equally yummy desert. Unfortunately, the service was not of the same standard. After 40 minutes, we had to ask for menus. I personally would have like to have been given these before ordering drinks, so I could choose the wine to pair with my meal. In fairness, although we had to wait a long time for food, we were given regular assurances that the food was coming and as previously stated, it was worth the wait.

   Lovely lunch. A hidden away place. Menu has almost all gluten-free options. Had risotto for starter, followed by steak and finished off with cheesecake. All perfectly done, especially the risotto which was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone in the area

   Amazing quality food and very generous portions. Did not need to book buy done it on their website just incase. Highly recommend. Will.be going back to work my way through the menu! Ribs just wow! Such a portion and great tasking.

   Popped in on a Wednesday lunchtime - my first time back here since the new owners took over. Very pleased to see they have a plant-based menu and the Panang curry was spot on. Staff were also lovely and we (and the dog) were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back soon.

   Nice pub, small and cosy. Visited on Mother's Day and ordered the rump steak. It comes raw on a hot plate so you can cook it to your liking!
