   Great venue for larger groups. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Food, as usual, was delicious and service was good. We have been here several times with a big family group and always been impressed with the service we have received. We will be back!

   There were 8 of us for a family Christmas meal at the Spring Inn, and overall we had a really nice experience. There was a small issue at first, but the staff dealt with it quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated. They were clearly working very hard and stayed friendly throughout. The food was enjoyable, and by the end we were all happy. A great place for a family meal and we’d happily return.

   The menu said beer battered fish and chips, the batter was no where near a beer batter ,thick chickpea batter,terrible taste, more like a fish bhaji. Mushy peas had a curry flavour and beer was warm. The outside seating area is beautiful with flowers but don't bother eating here.

   Turned up and asked for 2 drinks. The guy behind the bar couldn't understand me asking for a coke. Had to say it 3 times. Took him quite a while to serve me 2 drinks while the other bartender served 2 people in that time. Then just handed me the card machine to tap, he couldn't even be bothered to tell me how much! We decided to then have food so service was ok for this but I just had a burger. It literally fell apart so couldn't eat it in the bun, it just crumbled. Also very dry as they didn't bother putting any sauce in the bun! Didn't offer us any sauces or anything else, just dished it up and left. After dinner took the plates then didn't see another server at all. They were only 3 tables in there so not busy. We finally had to walk over to the bar to ask for more drinks and dessert so did not leave a tip. I have always like this pub, it could be so good, it's always the service that let's this place down. Been for many years and never gets any better. So sorry but I give up trying.

   What a beautiful place. Food was stunning. Becca our waitress was amazing. She was so helpful. Constantly coming to check if we needed anything as there was 13 of us. Definitely will return when we are in the area next.

   We had Main course and desert. Battered Codd Fish Fry and Chips were awesome. Desert was delicious. Ambience and interior looks appealing. Plenty of parking space outside the restaurant. Enjoyed the dinner and time spent there.

   The Spring Inn is located on the Bath Road just South of Theale at Junction 12 M4. This is a lovely English country pub. The Inn itself is a characterful building. Going in through the main entrance the bar is located to the left. There is seating for food to the left and to the right. There is also upstairs seating. This is a popular venue that serves good wholesome food. There is a lot of seating but then this place gets busy. The menu offers a good selection of dishes and once ordered your food typically arrives in a timely fashion. The food is good quality, I’ve been a few times and not had a bad food experience. The venue itself is bright and lively with a nice relaxed energy. I would take your partner here for a couples or friends dine out experience. During the summer there is plenty of outside seating. On this occasion there was a cricket match on the green opposite the pub giving a true English country rural feel. During the colder months the inside seating is cosy and relaxed and a little escape from the outside world. The staff are polite and friendly with some banter to be had with the bar staff. I had a lager shandy on the day and asked for diet lemonade. No such luck, apparently that is not the done thing! Cocktails and Pimms to be had and look out for the specials. I’ve been to the Spring Inn a few times and I’ll be going back. Definitely recommended. Give it a go and I hope you enjoy.

   Amazing food, amazing staff! We will be back ASAP! Little gem in the countryside. The waiting staff this evening were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and an absolute credit to The Spring Inn. I needed cheering up and so my friend and I attended for dinner, it was the absolute (gin and) tonic I needed. Thank you all so much for a fabulous evening.

   My son took me for Mother's Day lunch! Everything is lovely! Booked for outside meal as the weather is not permitting they were kind enough for us to have the meal inside. Worth every penny that my son spent for the meal.

   Exceptional service. Harrison looked after us from the moment we walked in, until we left. He was really caring towards my grandma, making sure she had everything she needed. He could not do enough for us. Beautiful pub, lovely Xmas decorations and fabulous grand Christmas tree. Food was very good and menu was very varied. We did not feel crowded and there were sufficient space between each table. My only suggestion would be for staff to wear masks. I think this would encourage people to visit, particularly the older generation who are more vulnerable. Thank you The Spring Inn for a wonderful Christmas memory.
