Absolutely disgraceful behaviour between 2 men in a Wetherspoons venue by what I could only assume was a staff member of the Plough making physical threats to someone over an incident relating to the Plough inn Diseworth (I assume the owner) A senior staff member of Wetherspoons had to intervene with bodycam to calm the situation down. Whoever the individual was with glasses should be instantly sacked. I listened and clearly the matter related to a disagreement but the language was completely unacceptable by both parties. It should also be noted I have lodged a complaint with Wetherspoons in regards to how 2 individuals were allowed to be so aggressive towards one another. I am disgusted that 2 individuals needed to rant at one another in such a shameful manner but needless to say I won't be visiting either venues, nor do I feel such behaviour is acceptable.

Lovely little local, staff friendly and food was great value for money. Ploughman’s board came with big sections of cheese and plenty of extras. Very delicious. Bar man went out of his way to get my mother a coffee and brought it to the table.

The Plough is everything you’d hope for in a traditional pub – warm, welcoming, and full of charm with its cosy beamed ceilings. The staff couldn’t be friendlier; they genuinely go out of their way to make sure you feel looked after from the moment you arrive. There’s a great selection of beers and lagers to enjoy, and tonight we tried the food for the first time. We went for the Rockstar burger and the steak, kidney & oxtail pie with colcannon, fresh veg, and rich Guinness gravy – and honestly, every bite was delicious. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home, and we’ll definitely be back. If you’re thinking of going, give it a try – you really won’t be disappointed.

This is an excellent friendly pub. Good beers and the food is great. I can recommend the chili con carne and the pies are good too!

8 of us came to have lunch here today for my husband's 60th Birthday. This is a proper pub. A lot of locals seem to use it, who we found very friendly. All staff that served us were really welcoming & efficient. Menu on offer today was a choice of 2 Sunday roasts & vegetarian option. All of which were nice. Dogs allowed. Can't fault it. Will return.

Nice pub and clean... However the food let it down massively. I ordered 'the Plough Burger" thinking it would be decent, instead i got a toasted bun, not butter, with a tiny burger in it with no salad or cheese in the burger, a bit of salad on the side and a few scraggy chips. Really disappointing. The service was ok, but when they asked if all was ok with my meal i new they where taking the mick. I'd go for a drink but avoid the food.

Fabulous village pub situated in a stunning village a short 5 min drive from East Mids airport. Delicious food served along with good selection of beers. The chilli with rice was very good. Car parking to the rear. Spotlessly clean restrooms. Very friendly staff.

Busy pub, first time here. Staff is friendly and the place welcoming. Didn't get to try the food, but they had a local burger business in, and they were great.
