I moved to the area 12 months ago and was told Love Curry was the best Indian takeaway in the area. I have to say, it certainly was, the food was superb, some of the best I have had anywhere in the country. Unfortunately, this all changed when I assume they were taken over, and started to sell pizzas, burgers, kebabs and all sorts of other things. Since that switch I have twice had takeaways for 4 people and all have been extremely poor. I certainly won't be having any more and I would not recommend the place.

Had the chicken tandoori loaded fries which did not disappoint! The tandoori chicken and lamb shish with plain nan salad and sauces was the best I have had in a long time. We also had the tandoori chicken pizza again good choice. Will definitely be ordering again!

First time using love curry I ordered it through the app, was given 18-00 delivery and arrived 17-59 one minute early. My meal consisted of poppadom and pickle tray, onion bhaji, chicken tikka madras, mushroom rice, garlic & cheese naan and chips. Sharing everything except the madras. Pickles were tasty, onion bhaji ok, curry excellent with a kick, everything else good.

We use Love Curry at least twice in a month & have done for the past 5 years. But this weekend they were exceptional!! We asked them to cater for over 30 people, sent them a pre order & asked a time for it all to be delivered. It was all correct & piping hot. We all enjoyed our curries & Pizza's. Keep up the good work Love Curry & thank you for helping our engagement party go brilliantly well.

The best curry house in Derby, bar none. Always on time and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Sadly it had to happen eventually. Having delivered consistently good food since they opened I finally had a meal that was not up to scratch. We ordered two chilli, cheese and coriander Nans (our absolute favorites). One was mediocre, one turned out to be a garlic and something nan, so strong it is hard to know what exactly. We ordered a peshwari nan, very little coconut and no sultanas. Completely different to previous ones. Out normal Jalfrezi just wasn't as tasty as it normally is. The Lamb madras was ok. We also ordered a marsala dall as a side which was quite bland. Really dissapointed that after all this time we might actually consider trying another takeaway.

Not the best place for curry. The butter chicken has shreds of tandoori chicken, loads of sugar, no flavor of butter or spice. I used to walk by and could smell the flavor of spices. Had lots of expectations when we ordered I was very disappointed. I could excuse everything except taste and flavour.

DISGUSTING!!! My last 5 orders on just eat has been love curry and I would normally recommend this curry house. HOWEVER I ordered tonight (15/4/19) at 18.29, expected arrival 19:25, delivered at 18.46. Bit weird how quick delivery was saying I live 2.3 miles away, on a Monday at that time 10 minutes travel meaning that the food was only cooked for 7 minutes. This would explain my microwaved meal that was delivered, my partner and I could not even eat it. It was so obviously microwaved, we know this because of how quick it was delivered, the steam that came out of the tubs when opening and the excessive amount of water. NEVER EVER AGAIN!
