   I somehow managed to order for collection instead of delivery - popped in to pick it up and found a lovely little restaurant. We've ordered a few times for delivery, but never been into the restaurant. We definitely will in the future - a very beautiful and lovely lady behind the counter and a chef who made sure to check we had everything we'd ordered. It's definitely our go-to Indian takeaway and we will absolutely be booking a table to eat in, in the near future.

   Have used this take away for the last 15 years I am now very sad to say that the food and service has deteriorated massively over the last year. Orders do not not arrive at the correct time.. consistently early or late..1 hour early is not acceptable when all the people aren’t there to eat the food! Order has been incomplete on the last two occasions. Chicken has been hard, onions not cooked through, pickle tray has insufficient sized pots to accompany the poppodoms, naan breads missing from order. Very poor customer service when we rang, they refused to acknowledge our complaint about the order being incomplete and not at the expected time. We were told we could have free naan breads next time..! Curry Art hung up the phone which is so poor when we had paid for goods we had not received! Good bye Curry Art, we will not be buying from you anymore! And Good Luck .. you are going to need it..

   I ordered my food online and it was delivered within 35 minutes on a Friday night (to Alvaston) which is pretty good. The food was absolutely delicious and still piping hot, what we liked the most was that unlike many takeaway curries the oil content was low, no oil slick on top. The rice was really fluffy and the portion sizes were decent. I have tried a few takeaway curries over lockdown but I would rate this one as the best. Highly recommended.

   Quality seems to have gone downhill lately. Received hard crunchy chicken often over the past few weeks. Sometimes so tough that it was completely inedible and I couldn’t even cut through it! The last meal I ordered had less than half the usual sauce content too. Will edit my review if this changes. Still 3 stars for the flavour and because I hope these issues don’t persist as i’m used to good quality from this restaurant.
