Food disappointing.Very un Italian sloppy lasagne. Generally our party found the food bland considering the price. Which appears to be due to the location and not the quality of the food. Personally had better pasta dishes made at home. Staff were great and the Happy Hour was much appreciated.
I stopped in on Saturday during a dog walk for a couple of drinks and a bit to eat. We were welcomed in even though we were wet and muddy and there was plenty of comfy seats. We ordered from the tapas menu. The food was t the cheapest but boy was it good! It was quick, hot and incredibly tasty.
We had a very poor experience this evening. An expensive Bass ruined by being drowned in sauce and a vegetarian risotto which was just mainly frozen peas. Not even a large portion of Parmesan could not rescue it. It seems that quantity was used instead of quality. Booking a table seemed very odd. Booking on line showed that only early booking was available yet the restaurant was very quiet all the time we were there The only saving grace was our waitress who was lovely Our first visit and sadly our last.
It's taken us ages to actually get round to booking a table but decided to take our friend here for his birthday. We were really impressed with the food and the service. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and the chips and onion rings were amazing. The rest of the meals were great and it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely. To top it off they even brought out a surprise dessert with a candle on for the birthday boy. Thanks for a great meal.
