Visited The Horseshoes on Saturday night with family and friends. Absolutely delicious meal and wonderful service. This place is all about attention to detail and the atmosphere is great, very warm and friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to eat out, I highly recommend. There is a lovely bar area too with log fire, perfect if you are stopping off for drinks

Isn’t it nice to stumble across an absolute diamond occasionally. Today we did. I know a thing or two about food having owned a restaurant with a Michelin star chef many years ago. This is pub food done at 5 star delivery. Tilly (bar servery) was friendly & helpful & George the licensee was on hand & working. The attention to detail in terms of presentation on the plate is reflected across the whole pub in terms of cleanliness. You could eat off the floor! Toilets were immaculate with the paper folded into a point in the ladies. The garden & pods were exceptionally well cared for. The food was beautiful. The Pedigree was great & they often sell Bass ale. The Pinot Grigio Blush was very quaffable too. Excellent across the board.

Delicious food, beautiful interior, cosy and warm. Cater for allergies. Helpful, friendly and professional staff. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating. Would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely excellent pub. Service really was first rate, Michelin star-like. Goats cheese starter was very fresh. Can’t go wrong with a pint of Marstons Pedigree. Two EV chargers in the car park.

Arrived early 11.55. No lights on and staff not ready for service for opening at 12.00 noon !! 1st and desert course delicious. Main course disappointing, served cold mushy, brocoli and cauliflower vegetable dish with cold congealed cheese sauce. Roast potatoes cold, warmed up. Would go as far to say it was left over veg from the night before service!!!! Disappointing at £40 a head. We were offered a hot drink at no extra charge. Will not return.

Been here many times before but very disappointed today. We asked to be moved to a different table due to noise from a large party but were told this was not possible. There was no apology from management, in fact no one seemed to care at all. As always the food was lovely but today it wasn't enough to make up for the terrible service we received. Won't be back again.

Menu very limited, especially for children, so not really family friendly. Food was acceptable but nothing more, staff were efficient but again nothing more than that. Not eager to return.

Excellent food and with their 'garden pods' available for restaurant bookings, it has the environment to match as well. One downside is that they claim to be disabled accessible, now you can get in the front door to the main bar, but the toilet block is up a step my wheelchair wouldn't manage, so bring your walking stick if you are determined. Also on my visit I was unable to find a disabled toilet!
