   The meal was ok. Atmosphere was good. We came to the end of the meal and we tried to book a uber, however because there was no WiFi we were unable to book an uber. We live 30 minutes drive away. I asked the waitress politely if someone could book a taxi for us, she went away and said they were too busy to book us one. We headed towards the bar area where 4 staff members were laughing and joking and clearly were not busy. I said to the lady behind the bar that we were disappointed that they couldn’t book us a taxi, she replied ‘we need to keep our phone lines open’ (it seemed like they were fully booked already so I wouldn’t have thought they were looking to take anymore bookings) Considering we just spent £100 on a meal for 2 of us, it was very disappointing that they couldn’t book us a taxi on a cold rainy night. We waited around 45 minutes outside waiting for a taxi. We will not return again.

   Fantastic food and atmosphere for our wedding anniversary dinner. Nothing was too much trouble, my wife is gluten free and they were able to do her a gluten free base pizza. Definitely order the olives as well! Loved the fact that this was a family run restaurant and you can really see the effort put in especially into the food. Thank you for an authentic Italian food experience!

   Delicious food, the pizza was perfect. Cocktails were very nice. Good service and all at a decent price. Only gripe would be the chefs staring at everyone from the kitchen the whole time made us feel quite uncomfortable. Also they made an unusual choice to seat everyone in one corner when the rest of the restaurant was empty.

   This is the third time we have visited Nonno’s restaurant in Belper and we will return again! The staff are extremely friendly and know how to have a laugh, and seem more than happy to accommodate dietary requirements (I base this assumption on my extremely fussy 9 year old!!!) The restaurant is very welcoming and cosy, without feeling like you’re up close and personal with the next guests. As far as I’m aware the only toilets are down some stairs and i am not sure if there is a lift, so if you’re a disabled guest I would recommend double checking with the restaurant before booking, but I may be wrong about this. The food itself is fantastic. Beautifully plated, and portion sizes are perfect to oversized in my opinion depending on what you have. The pizza bases are rustic and the sauces are seasoned perfectly. This time we were a table of 9 (7 adults, a child and a toddler) we weren’t drinking alcohol and only half the table had desserts, and on average we spent around £27.50 per person.

   My partner and I visited Nonno's some time ago and had a great experience there. The staff is lovely and the food is delicious. The restaurant is pricy but definitely worth visiting once in a while

   I loved this restaurant went with a friend welcomed to a lovely little table with a prompt and speedy service. Had a few cocktails that came stunningly dressed and appearances didnt disappoint on tasting. Starters and mains was exceptional had no room for dessert disappointingly. I highly reccomend this place and could not fault from entrès to main. I will be returning that is a definate.
