   I was in south Derbyshire 05/08/2025 and wanted to call in to Masala King for a kebab , I was a bit put off by a couple of recent bad reviews, some say it's changed owners. I called in anyway, the lad who takes the orders at the counter is the same man. I ordered two different kebabs and a large fries, it took about 10 to 15 minutes, as the man said it would. I drove back to Leicester with it and it was still hot , the naan was good then meat was good then chips were good, all good then same good quality as it been from Masala King for the 10? Years I've been going there. Highly recommend for top quality kebabs.

   used to have a lovely guy deliver the food which was very enjoyable ,but lately no sight of our said driver just some non enity that hands you the bag zero customer servce ,and the food orders always turn up wrong the 3 past orders i stated garlic base on my pizza via the website only to have a tomato base and the overall pizza base is full of grease and the toppings looking like slopp ,i appreiate the fast delivery but at least take care and pride in what your delivering its not about speed ,and also avoid ordering the shish has a large shish contains about 7 pieces of shish if your're lucky ,the old owers of this place were amazing (punjabi spice big shout to carlos and the crew ) but these havent followed in their footsteps which is a shame low cost food at a high price but low quality !!!

   Had various items and food is very poor I had mixed kebab starter which is awful my wife chicken tikka masala which was bland and up eatable would never recommend.

   Really nice food I’d say I use it regular and have tried a fair bit the staff listen really well to customisation and addition of sauces and salads etc foods always hot and fresh and the one time we complained they offered us a refund for the item and next order we got a free pizza so can’t fault this place the wraps are amazing

   Possibly the worst shish kebab iv had, Prices are extortionate too! They cut there meat up into smaller pieces so it looks like more. I paid £6 for basically bread and bit of salad. Few pieces of tiny shish that taste dry and bland and tbh like gone off meat. My partner had the tikka shish and again they cut the pieces up into smaller pieces. The place was so much better years ago before it had new ownership.
