   We had a simple meal of crispy duck, hoysin sauce, cucumber, spring onions and pancakes, plus prawn crackers and crispy seaweed, as a takeaway. Very tasty, and nicely prepared: the duck had been taken off the bone and looked good. It's never a cheap dish but I thought it was good value at c. £26 for two of us. I will definitely be back! One other thing: it is a bit hard to find, as it's not quite on Northumberland Avenue, but in an adjacent precinct. So Google struggled to direct me

   My favourite Chinese, lived here for 32 years and not one other place can compete, this is the best place you could ever try! Have often wondered what paste/ curry powder they use as I just cannot find anything remotely like it! LOVE IT !

   This is the best Chinese around, the only thing I would say is, to tell the truth about how long your dinner will take as you always end up waiting in the shop for around 10 to 20 minutes.

   Will not be ordering from them again. Prawn toast tasted and looked like they were re fried yesterday.. hard and crispy. The satay chicken skewers were also dry and did not taste of peanuts at all. But the worse item was the congealed looking Beef in Black Bean Sauce.. There was no sauce but clumps of thickened, congealed gravy stuck to chewy beef, the sauce..didn't taste at all like black bean sauce. When I called and complained the reply was.... 'That's how we cook it' ???????? Never Again!!!!!!!

   Dreadful! Tried it for the first time and went with a aafe bet - singapore chow mein chicken fried rice and a side dish of mushrooms. The mushrooms were sweetened. The singapore noodles were large noodles rathee than thin, and were overcooked, greasy and bland. The chicken fried rice looked grey and tasted as bad. Have no idea why the average Google rating is higher than 2.
