   ordered takeaway meal, egg fried rice, chicken curry, (has carrot - unspecified on menu) salt and pepper chips, prawn crackers and squid. rice was nice, and the curry was great. the rice portion isnt exactly equal to the curry, curry could last 2 days in portion, the rice couldnt however, but tasted nice. chicken was tender, sauce was a balance of spice and taste which was good. chips were amazing. best tasting chips ive had. prawn crackers were plentiful and crunchy. good stuff. squid unfortunately was dry and not too good, however all the food was lovely. service the first time i ordered was great. quick delivery and hot food. however at the second time, it took 2 hours after the original estimate (1hr) for food to arrive, although was still very hot, so thats a non issue. overall id definitely recommend it, slightly more expensive than Hong Kong Palace, nearby. but still great. free egg rolls too. however with allergies that could kill, like i have the lack of any detail of ingredients on the menu is a killer. but most are like this, so i wouldnt mark them down.

   Ordered for the first time as our usual Chinese is closed . Did telephone order and spoke to a lovely lady read back order took payment and arranged delivery for 6.15. Delivery arrived spot on time by a very cheery lady was all piping hot also gave us a free dish of prawn toast and prawn crackers. All the food was delicious will definitely be ordering from here again

   We have been buying from the Happy Family for several years. Never had a bad meal yet. Very occasionally a dish may have been forgotten but this is a rarity. Always piping hot, really nice and we all love it. We are grateful to have it near us. We only ever collect as its much quicker. 5 stars from me.

   Very nice food, well the dish I ordered was. Will definitely return. Well, I have returned a few items and it is one of few places that make their food extra spicy when asked and without loosing any flavour.

   Awful experience dreadfull costumer service we order at 1840 and it's 2040 £41 pound order and was told we were bacicly lieng will not recommend this also there is a good Chinese takeaway in Hythe with great cosmer services

   First time ordering, got a menu through the door so thought we’d give it a go. Absolutely loved the fact you can order and pay online, more places need this. Food wasn’t the best Chinese I’ve had, though could be due to ordering from the same place for over 5 years. Love that there are lots of vegetarian options, although was strange to get a free item that contains meat when our whole order was vegetarian. The only food item I would say was bad was the pot of sweet and sour sauce. It wasn’t good at all. It was like a think syrup. It looked unnaturally pink and tasted more like strawberry jam. Definitely needs improvement. Everything else was pretty tasty, even are the leftovers the next day which we don’t usually do. Would order again, hope the sweet and sour sauce is improved and vegetarians are taken into account with free items. (Even if it means not receiving them to stop food being wasted)

   I ordered the seafood in garlic sauce and the hot and sour soup online. The seafood pan fry dish was very delicious with lots of fresh seafood (prawns, scallops, squid). The portion was big. I specially requested the hot and sour soup to be vegetarian and the chef did it for me. The soup was perfect to my liking. The food was ready within 5 mins of the pick up time. They were very good value of their quality.
