   Nine of us visited the restaurant for lunch on 12th Dec. we had the private room upstairs and chose the 3 course set menu. We followed this with some cheese boards. The food was amazing with good choices. Great selection of wines. We were served by a young lady called Tye who was exceptional, very knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend anyone to try this little gem.

   We had the valentines day 9 course meal as a couple and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here as the food is quite exceptional. The meals were delicious and if you're not used to eating this style of food, smaller dishes, I would recommend eating a larger lunch beforehand. The purees and vegetables were cooked exceptionally well and were just amazing, I would like to have their sweet potato puree on demand if possible. As you're paying a premium price I would expect the service from the staff to be better. In explaining a meal one lady forgot what one item was and said "OK.... whatever" before leaving.

   An absolutely delightful restaurant with amazing food, brilliant, friendly service and really wonderful atmosphere. I especially loved the fact that you have a booking for the whole evening, ie no waiters eyeing you to vacate the table after x amount of time so that the next round of people can come in. Thus, you can take your time to enjoy your meal, spend quality time with your partner, family or friends etc. We had the 9 course selection and every dish was exquisite. They also had a very good wine selection. Being a high end establishment it's not cheap, but it's also not exorbitantly expensive either. For what you are getting, it is really great value for superb quality. I highly recommend The Vanilla Pod and will definitely come again.

   I had my second visit at vanilla pod last Saturday evening. What an outstanding restaurant. Better than some Michelin stars I’ve been to. The staff is lovely and attentive, the food is marvellous (well cooked classic food full of creativity and surprises) The atmosphere is very warm and calm. I can’t wait to visit again.

   Overall experience was delightful. Staff very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Food I must say was outstanding in my opinion, compliments to the chef. Quiet small dining area however suited me. Expensive but worth every penny, will be back!

   A well executed 7 course meal experience, highly recommended, great service and exceptional food. A really warm welcome and staff; attentive front of house from time of arrival to leaving, always checking on our food experience and satisfaction. Great portions so you might want to take it slow. Would highly recommend. My only 1 comment would be that the window table we occupied is also opposite the chefs kitchen door so we watched repeated comings and goings, in and out, but otherwise fantastic.
