Visiting from out of town, caught them just before close. Grabbed a couple kebabs for a snack. Good sized portion and very tasty. Garlic sause is excellent.
Had a kebab here for the first time after many many years of people telling me to try. And I was blown away! Amazing taste, crispy chips and a very hearty portion of kebab meat. 10/10
Absolutely horrible got home after getting my food opened the container and my wrap was in a pool of oil. Never going back which is a shame as been using it for years. Also the bloke thought it was okay to click the tongs at me very rude
OK,ordered mixed kebab.and chips. Chips were nice and crispy and hot. Kebab, chicken was cooked nicely, but cut up way too small, it looked like chicken mince. Doner was OK, little bland, but edible. Chilli sauce was a strange colour and chilli free!!! But all in all, good portion size and great value for money.
Not your typical kebab van experience.. Not the friendly hussle and bustle you usually get.. They will take their sweet time with your order and fuddy around. However, one of the best donor kebabs I've had in Reading so far (minus GDK).. Going to give it a second go, will update the review depending on how it goes! Update: the good kebab I had was yet another one off. We won't be going back :/. The second, the meat had a very weird (I call it) wet dog taste, which was very disappointing, they could have disguised this with the sauce and I wouldn't have even been mad.. But it felt like they skimped on the sauce. The cheesy chips were good though! Lots of cheese, lacking in salt but who doesn't have extra salt in their home
Best kebab place in reading. They have been in the same place for 30 years plus and still good food at a decent price.
Portion size and price is good but the quality of meat is not very good and it wasn't sliced properly it was more like crumbs of gristle
WE HAD A FAMILY DEAL. VERY WELCOMING STAFF AND VERY VERY NICE FOOD. WILL ORDER AGAIN.
