We are regulars here and enjoy their kabli pilau and mixed grill platters. Food is to a high standard and meat is juicy and fresh. Even their chicken is juicy and not dry, which it can be at other places. Would however be nice if they had a little flexibility in altering the platters according to preference.
I was returned from a proud and arrogant restaurant Taste of Pakistan despitee waiting g for 30 min, and very nosy staff rudely returned me. Came here super friendly staff, the ladies greeted me with such a brilliant smile that I said myself they have won my hearts even if food ain’t good. But the brilliant part is food is even amazing, I haven’t eaten these brilliant and fresh Chaii kebab anywhere in US and Europe but here, their meat, bar b que and all other cuisine. People, they really deserve a chance, they are brilliant respectful and their service and food amazing. Worth every penny, though prices are very fair and within range.
First time here, Rabia served us since from starting food was fabulous. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We ordered karahi and mixed platter and food was quite good in quality and quantIt. Hope to pop down next time we served in same way. Thanks to Rabia for great services and helping to chose best food we had @Zaitoon.
The lamb Qabli Pulao at Zaiitoon was exceptional — tender meat, fragrant rice, and perfectly balanced flavors. The sweet carrots and raisins on top were a great touch. They also served complimentary kheer, green tea, and sugarnuts, which made the experience feel extra special. Amazing food and thoughtful hospitality — highly recommend!
Food was nice and service was very good really enjoyed the platter portion size is very good.
One of the best restaurant in town and we were very happy with the taste of all the foods we ordered. We ordered Afghan naan and it’s really biggggg. Ambiance and cleanliness was good. I will visit again and highly recommended.
Went out with four families Table was reserved so there were no issues with seating etc. ample space and table was set up nicely. Afaaq greeted us and was at our table the whole time. Served us very well. Anything we needed was brought to the table promptly. Service was outstanding as he made sure we had everything piping hot including nans. Which is rarely normally nans often go cold if left all at once. Lamb Karahi was 5 stars Chapli kebabs 5 stars. Platter was decent however some components of it were but bland and didn’t have much flavour in terms of spices etc. however saving grace ti all that was all meat was tender and cooked. Kabuli pilao was decent Their tea at the end was very good Falafel and humus were ok as well. Ambience Atmosphere Seating Service Space Quality of food Quantity of food All of the above were spot on. And it was topped up by personable service provided by amazing afaaq Real credit to the restaurant If you are local and don’t mind prices then this place is worth a visit. Overall everyone was happy from ages 11 all ye eta up to age 60. Everyone went home happy.
Great place for some authentic Afghan cuisine. Visited with family and friends for a dinner. The reception staff was very welcoming. Ordered quite a few things from the menu but their chapli kebab were the best. Tried those from so many other places but Zaiitoon are the best so far. Their serving staff is very helpful and friendly. There is no parking, that can be an issue but just 2 minutes walk away there is big Hatfield parking. Their pricing is also good. Another rare gem in Slough's rather ruined high street crown.
Nice family atmosphere, good prices, nice Afghan naan. Lamb was very good. I wouldn’t necessarily drive out of my way to go but is great food for locals so if in Slough worth trying.
Best Afghan & Persian food I’ve ever had it’s my 3rd time here, also my family visit here regularly. Lovely people and Great tasting food . 5 Stars. Afaq was great too.
