Very helpful staff on Saturday, got the flipflops I wanted from last year. Shame Clarks have stopped making the metal shoe horns, so sturdy

We were in branch today with my Disabled Grandaughter. Thank you so much for your kind consideration. Especially to the young lady who attended to us. We were very impressed and pleased with our purchase.

My son is ASD, we booked an appointment for 8.30am before they opened to the general public. We were the only ones there, they were absolutely fantastic with him. They really went above and beyond. Special thanks to Julie who served us

Staff are friendly and the management of customers into the store is fairly well managed. The negative for me is 2 fold; my wife called in the morning to enquire about stock of shoe size for my daughter, but was not asked if she wanted to make a booking for later that day. The queue was fine, so no problem there and our wait was in line with the advice upon arrival. However once in store, it seemed that there weren't enough staff for the number of groups. I would have thought that it would be one in, one out to ensure a 1-on-1 customer/family:staff member. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we were able to buy our daughters 1st pair of shoes.

Clarks has been a staple of my life ever since I complained to my mum that all the other kids had Kickers. Nonetheless, they do make some decent kids shoes so I can understand the dilemma now that I have kids of my own. This particular location is fine, although service has been patchy over the years. The latest occurrence was very good though. Prices are where Clarks hurts. The old adage you get what you pay for certainly applies, but it stings a bit paying near £40 for a pair of kids shoes. Adult shoes are very hit and miss. I've had a few pairs over the years. Some chunky black brogues have been very good, whereas some brown leather biker boots didn't even last a year.

We always go to Clark’s to get shoes for our little one. The staff take the time to ensure that the size is right for the foot, and that the shoes are fitted comfortably. Went into this branch in Newbury for some wellies, and the lady serving us was fantastic. Really helpful and great child friendly manner. The shoes are generally more expensive than a lot of other places, but it’s totally worth it to invest in better quality footwear, especially for toddlers.
