   My partner went in to buy a pair of boots she had seen online. The assistant helping her said they didn't have her size in-store so my partner said she would just buy them online. The assistant was very adamant that she should buy them in-store to 'support the high street' and get the 'benefits of being in-store'. My partner was short on time and said she would just buy online as ordering these things in store takes ages to give over all the details whereas she could do it anytime online. The assistant made my partner feel very uncomfortable and feel a bit threatened -- terrible customer experience and service

   We bought the shoes you can see on the below photos for term start September 2021. The first pair actually out of the box already had the sole separating from the shoe so we returned them immediately as they were unworn. The staff was very friendly and professional and exchanged the faulty shoe with the same model. Unfortunately the sole of the below shoe came loose very soon after around Halloween. Only just now had the time to post a review. Whilst the shoe fitters and staff are friendly the quality of this particular shoe is very disappointing especially for the price tag.

   Love Russell and Bromley, they have excellent fitters and the service is always professional and friendly. Up until this year I always used the one in Salisbury (now closed) but the one in Winchester is every bit as good - if not better - and I would not get my children's school shoes anywhere else. The quality is second to none and you know they are well fitted, unlike the other well known brand who always measure wrong with iPads and try and fob you off with the wrong size.
