My wife wanted some wide fit shoes to use with long dresses. The female assistant could not have been more patient despite the shop being very busy.Unfortunately we didn't get her name but she went above and beyond normal service to ensure my wife went away with a lovely pair of shoes. 10/10!
Great boots and even better service. I've had multiple pairs of boots from Jones and they're great. The last pair I bought last Xmas had an issue with the heel. I went in and I had barely taken them out of the bag before the staff offered me a replacement pair. This is what great service is. I will be back!
They seemed to have stopped catering for anyone with size 8 feet and if you've also got wide calves then forget it! Overpriced too. The last order I got was in a scruffy box and they were definitely seconds for full price. I asked for a size 8 or 9 in the shop and got offered a 7. The woman in the shop said she didn't think I had wide calves which was too personal. Pretty sure they don't actually make them either!
I the past I found their products excellent quality and their customer service was good. In the past year I have had to return 2 items with faulty soles. I can only assume they are like others using poorer quality manufacturers and the products have suffered. Recently I was quite insulted by a staff member who told me my £80 shoes had fallen apart from near and tear in less than 3 months due to me being heavy footed!!! This was quite frankly a disgraceful approach to dealing with a return of what was clearly faulty manufactured goods, as I have never had a pair of shoes in 50years 'peel apart' in 2.5months. Whilst a refund was issued I'm so unimpressed I shall not return to this store anymore. What a pity another highstreet retailer has suffered a profit over quality approach.

Great quality shoes at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Stock is limited by the lack of shop floor space, and can sometimes be a squeeze if you have more than 5 customers in there at once :-0
I used to shop in here a lot but will never ever go back! There have been a few times when the staff have been a little unsure of systems etc which is fine considering some were new, before now they have sent me home with mis matching shoes on a few occasions. All forgivable given they were so apologetic! However today I went in to try on a pair of boots and the lady rudely informed me I had to try the one on the shop floor first to show her it fitted before she would get the other!! Needless to say I walked out of the shop and will never ever return or shop in Jones again. Shame as I used to go there a lot but service has slipped and today was absolutely unforgivable.
