   This review is for how poorly Evans Cycles runs. What could be a simple click and collect has been a nightmare. I hand delivered my own bike from the delivery company to the store and collected it myself. DO NOT use this store for store delivery. If possible do not shop from Evans Cycles at all.

   It used to be well stocked in Peel Centre, but after moving to Lexicon it has changed into teen fashion store. Ladies clothes are categorically extremely small sizes and designed for under 20s, so an adult will struggle to find anything from there. There is very little difference between women's and children's department, as only labels would state to whom they are intended. Average size 16 will not find clothes from here but skinny 10 might. For men there is more selection, although it now polarizes to branded fashion items, whereas normal wearable clothes tend to be black with daddy pod, or extremely slim and bright orange. And of course the endless selection of loose plumbers pants for those needy traders.

   Nightmare shopping experience today. Went to purchase trainers. Looked for a staff member to help literally no staff anywhere. Finally after 10 minutes managed to find an assistant who told me someone would be there but I might have to wait a while. Asked for manager who was no where to be seen. 25 minutes later along with at least 10 other customers waiting to be helped still no staff member. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Apparently they were really busy, this was not the case as the store was not busy at all. Won't be going back in a hurry.

   Second time there and the last one ! No staff at the football boots area. After waiting 20mn that somebody showed up, we finally got the pair we wanted (usually they have no size !!!!) we arrived to the till and it was 2 different size of boots. Thanks to the woman at the till who actually did correctly her job because she checked. Then we waited another 20mn at the till that a guy (who never came back!) looked for the second shoe with the same’ size ! Finally they never managed to find it ! This store is a waste of time ! Such a big store without stocks and no qualified staff ! They just don’t care.

   I wish I could put zero stars. Monday at 1030 not a busy morning and no staff about to help. Went to the till to buy football boots was refused and told to wait over in that area. After 20min wait i left with no football boots, saved myself £200. New store but same p#ss poor standard.
