What a brilliant experience I had with Cristian Carcalea at Wren, Reading. I was in a real dilemna how exactly a replacement boiler could be nicely boxed in and also wanted to create and maximise storage space in our much neglected utility room. I could have saved weeks of proscastinating if I'd popped in earlier! Great service from start to finish in design, achieving the best price, fit and after sales service. Honestly the most slick experience imaginable, very difficult to find these days!
Before visiting Wren, we were warned by a few other kitchen companies that Wren could be pushy and overly focused on upselling appliances. However, my partner had previously had a great experience with Wren, so we decided to give them a chance—and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived at the showroom, the customer care was exceptional. We even brought our dog along, which made the whole experience more relaxed as we spent a few hours designing our kitchen. Our designer, Axel Sylvere Libois, was absolutely fantastic. He quickly understood our style and needs, and helped us design the perfect kitchen for our space, which wasn’t the largest to work with. At no point did we feel pressured into a sale or upsold unnecessarily. Axel gave honest, thoughtful advice—recommending higher-end appliances where it made sense, and suggesting more cost-effective options where appropriate. His expertise was invaluable. Now, nearly two years later, the kitchen still looks as good as new. Despite what some competitors claimed—that Wren kitchens wouldn’t last—ours has proven to be solid, durable, and beautifully made. When the kitchen was delivered, we didn’t have a large space to unpack and check everything immediately. By the time we did, we had passed the stock-checking deadline. We contacted Wren, and within a week, the small missing part was delivered—no hassle at all. We’ve recommended Wren—and especially Axel—to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Have recently had my Wren Kitchen installed (by own tradesmen), however wanted to leave a review due to the outstanding customer service and support received from my designer, Kevin, at Wren Reading! He really listened to our thoughts, ideas, wants and needs to really help share his knowledge and give advice. Kevin was patient and understanding when there were numerous changes to see the plans and get the kitchen design to where we needed it. Really appreciated the help and were extremely happy with the completed look ❤️. Wren customer services have also been great when we’ve needed them! Will definitely think of returning should we go ahead with a new bedroom plan! :). Thanks again!
We had a great experience from start to finish. Our kitchen was designed by Ronnie in the Reading showroom and she came up with ideas and was accommodating to several changes that we requested. Delivery was on time on the scheduled day and we were kept updated on delivery timings which was very helpful. We now have a beautiful new kitchen which we enjoy spending time in.
Went ahead with an extension to create a bigger kitchen space. We opted to go with Wren which made the whole process as straightforward and efficient as possible. Design phase was very impressive as you were able to use the virtual reality which really helped visualise the space we could have and Cristian helped tailer our needs by listening to what we wanted as well as giving us really useful suggestions in making the space we had a useful as possible! The final design had to be tweaked slightly due to the original design being based off planning drawings but sitting down with the designer Cristian helped ensure no problems would be seen during installation. Price was locked in too so no further price hikes as we did this about 9 months in advance. Delivery stage was also very easy with them giving a slot to deliver and very friendly drivers! Two panels had been damaged ( slight corner damage and one was wrong colour) but Wren allow for this and free replacement items were sent once notified. Installation was carried out by our builders and we’re really happy with it.. just awaiting floor installation. No hesitation in recommending Wren.
Hello, we purchased a kitchen from Christian from Reading Store and he was professional from start to finish. Christian added value throughout the design stage and bought the kitchen within our budget.Christian was a very pleasant friendly person to have met . Now our new Wren kitchen is finished we would like to share our whole experience. It has been excellent through the design, purchase, delivery and the aftercare service. We had a very helpful and knowledgeable designer Cristian that incorporated many great ideas and features, It was great having a single contact to deal with right up to final order stage and beyond with questions we still had. Ever other member of the Wren team (arranging delivery etc, delivery drivers, worktop measuring and fitting) has been helpful and efficient, we cannot praise the whole process with Wren Kitchens enough. Our daughter is currently renovating her property and we have recommended that when she gets to the kitchen stage she uses Cristian and the Wren Kitchens service. Thank you to every member of the Wren Team that made our total experience seamless.
Our kitchen is now finished and we are extremely pleases with the results. Cristian our designer was very knowledge both on the design and what would and wouldn't work in the space we had available. Any questions we had Cristian would reply back very quickly despite the many changes we kept asking for. So thanks Cristian and Wren for an excellent service
