Don't click and collect. Item was faulty. Go online to raise return, tells me I have to go to the store. Go to the store to watch them fill out the return form I could have done myself at home. They email me the label to print at home, can't do it for me. I have to go home print it, go back out and drop it off at a drop off point as the store isn't one. Stupidly asked for an exchange, don't know why could have ordered a new one and waited refund. Not in stock. Phone line impossible to get through to a person and overly complex. Live chat times out when they don't respond quick enough. Super saddened by this, Currys is somewhere for those who want help to pick their tech and support for those who aren't so online. The processes are so long and complex, it's easier to just Amazon. Sadly. Never click and collect.

After an atrocious experience in Currys Reading yesterday, I made the mistake of thinking Basingstoke might be any better. Spoiler: it wasn’t. Sami, the sales assistant, clearly majored in “How to Avoid Helping Customers” — his complete lack of effort was almost impressive in its consistency. Charlie at least attempted to step in, but by then the damage was done. My patience had been ground into dust. If Currys think this passes for service, they’re deluded. I’ll happily take my money to John Lewis, where staff don’t treat customers like an inconvenience.

The Curry's guarantee is basically 30 days only. Up to 1 year you get a return to shop, send to manufacturer repair shop, pick up the repair yourself, go back home and hope it works for 10 years. If your purchase breaks or fails after 30 days, there is no refund or replacement so you have a white elephant for a period till it blows up or catches fire. Or you pay £149 and they pick up and may give a stand by. Or you may not be able to cook, refrigerate or watch TV 30 days at a time. If you ask to see a manager, the acting manager walks away and hides. Other staff laugh at you misfortune. I was not alone. There were 2 other customers withsimilar problems ahead of us. Very poor service. Practised

Staff were helpful, but what is the point of advertising items that are not in the shop? even more shocking, cannot be even ordered from the shop and delivery to the home! Went to Amazon and delivered in two days. I really try to not use the internet as I prefer the interaction with a human, no wonder shops are closing. The one star is for the company. Staff would get 4 stars, as he double checked and tried to help.

Empty store yet I still waited 25 minutes for someone to serve me at the repair/support till. Ended up walking out and going elsewhere. Also the charm school didn’t see any of these rude headset wearing staff.

I returned to collect a laptop following repair. I received regular updates about progress of the repair. I then received a telephone call to say my laptop was in store ready for collection. On arrival at the store, staff handed over my laptop without fuss. Good job Currys, with a quick turnaround and great communication.

A star is too much! Went to the store to buy a phone, wasn't in stock, benn faffed around the store because of technical issues with their payment system, done the order myself onlyne and been tpld that I could have done it at home (sorry to bother the staff). Because they didn't have in stock another option of phone, a bit more expensive, went for the initial one to be delivered to my home. Been waiting a whole day for just a "photo service of my door" , by the DPD driver, for which I've paid £5. Dusan the driver didn't even bother to call me that he's at the door!!!! Drove again to the store, a nice gent accepted my total refund and called customer service, as the store, of teh same company, has nothing to to with the online service. What's the point of Curry's having a store?!?! I won't buy from them anymore.

Bought two items, only one was delivered on time, tried to rearrange the delivery via portal and it was not working, then I called and spoke with really rude woman, then I tried the chat, bloke was ok but useless, could not find my order although I gave him my order details, then I emailed the customer service and was just getting emails (two of those) we'll look into this, and guess what!? No one looked into it! Finally, I decided to go to the store, staff there were super nice and professional, and they helped me with my issue. Basically, customer care/service 0 out of 10, store staff 10 out of 10

Absolute disgrace of a store. Purchase a £750 coffee machine, 3 months after purchase it malfunctioned. I returned the machine to the Basingstoke store to be told they will have to send the machine back to the manufacturer for repairs. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything, I made several attempts to contact Curry’s customer services to find out what was going on only to sent around in circles getting nowhere. So I contacted the manufacturer for some answers to the whereabouts of my machine, to be told they had send DPD to the store twice to collect the machine but Curry’s had not let the courier take it. So I visited the store to find out it was still sat in the store since I dropped it off 3 weeks prior. I spoke with the manager of the store who refused a refund & told me they will send the machine off for repair. So still no machine, £750 out of pocket. I will never shop with Curry’s ever again.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would, they don’t believe in customer service, as soon as they have your money they don’t care, my partner and I bought a fridge freezer which cost us £839 including a £30 delivery charge, we were told they would deliver it the next day and received a text saying our delivery would be between 2.10 and 6.10pm, we received a call at 12.10pm to say our fridge freezer was too tall to put on the van and the delivery would be rescheduled in another 6 days, we had turned our existing fridge freezer off and placed the food in bags ready for the new one to arrive and had to throw a lot of the food in the bin. We decided to drive to the store and cancel our order and we demanded a full refund, we never intend to shop with this company again as they are a complete disgrace! We would advise anyone who is thinking of shopping with them to avoid as they are rubbish!
