I wouldn't usually leave a review for a place such as a Screwfix location as the review depends so much on the staff there at the time. What I would say about Screwfix, however, is that I've been using them for some time and the staff are very good, without exception.
Had a tin of instant stick, like evostick, 6 months old, opened for the first time and it was dry. Product still had over 5 months before the end of its best before date. Changed no problem.
What more can you ask of a hardware shop? Decent prices & stock levels. Price match if you find the same thing locally for less. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. 5* from me. They even offer to store bulky items until you're ready.
Duty manager is a waste of time. Bought a product from screwfix but won't refund a item bought from another branch. Very rude guy. Avoid him.
Had pre ordered goods and paid for 6 days in advance, but when I went to pick up, not available, a bit disappointed as had planned to do a job. But store manager did keep me updated with the situation. Hopefully it will sort itself out, normally good service.
The shop is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. The have everything you would need at reasonable prices. You can always order things to be in store the next day if there is something they dont keep in store.
