    This store is by far the worst curry’s store that I’ve ever shopped with! I moved to Newbury on 14/11 and have already come to this conclusion. Staff are incompetent and struggle to deal with the most simple requests. They run around like headless chickens and have to have a team debate before anything is done. Went to the store today to return an online order due to it being unsuitable and was told that due to the amount of stock they have in their stock room that they are unable to take my item and gave me a phone number to arrange a courier collection which is extremely inconvenient for me. I will not shop at this store again, it isn’t worth the hassle or the drama that you have to experience whilst there

    Very well laid out store with everything where you expect it to be. Nice and clean and well presented the only let down is how many times the staff ask if you need assistance. I understand once or twice however I got asked 5 times in the space of 10 minutes by 5 separate members of staff all of which knew I had already been asked by 1 person. I appreciate they have a job to do but being hassled when you’ve politely said you’re okay should be left at that.

    Manager on shop floor very unprofessional, leaning on the merchandise like a cowboy. Advised unable to sell mobile phones as not prepared to take 5 mins to do a sale, and fobbed us off about not able to sell certain makes. Didn't discuss what we were after and very dismissive. Told us to return tomorrow instead. If I could do zero stars I would. Even though it takes more time to do so, I will avoid Newbury branch in the future and go elsewhere.

    If you're in the market for a TV or soundbar, do yourself a favor and speak to Amy! She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient, approachable, and genuinely passionate about helping customers make the right choice. We walked in with very little understanding of soundbars, and Amy took the time to walk us through the different models, explain the specs in simple terms, and help us figure out what would best suit our needs. Her expertise and guidance made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel easy and enjoyable. She’s an absolute credit to the store! We also had the pleasure of being helped at the till by Laloona, who was just as friendly and helpful. Her warm and cheerful attitude made the checkout process quick and pleasant, and she left us with a smile on our faces. The entire visit was seamless from start to finish thanks to both of them. Excellent service like this is rare—highly recommend stopping by!

    Service was really shocking. On Saturday the store was practically empty of customers but with lots of staff and yet when I asked for help from someone standing around they said they couldn’t help me because he wasn’t on phones today and the one guy who was doing phones that day was busy. I eventually found someone who could help me and answered my simple questions about their stock. I said I would be back the next day to place the order. When I arrived the next day I had to wait around again for 20 minutes but eventually got service. Things seemed to be looking up because although it took long, the phone got ordered and I was told it was arriving on Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and at 6pm I haven’t heard anything, so I went to the store to see if they had just forgot to contact me. Get there and they tell me it didn’t arrive because the order was placed after the deadline on Sunday and so it will only arrive on Thursday. Then on Wednesday evening I get a call from the manager saying that the order was actually never placed in the first place and so they will order it now and it will arrive on Saturday. I now just went to the store Saturday to see if the phone had arrived and they seemed like I’d inconvenienced them because I had come “early” on Saturday and I should come later in the afternoon for orders. I had prearranged plans today which have now been disrupted and I still don’t have a phone a week later!

    Poor service, not enough floor staff. Excuses made.... and yet staff sat at computers. Instead of dealing with the customers in the shop. Left waiting for over 20 minutes and then told they had no stock. Clueless......

    I went on Friday to buy my new phone, I have been promptly helped by one of the gentlemen that were at the entrance.The whole experience went smoothly in around 10 minutes.

    Went in for a Chromecast with Google TV, they only had the HD version but that turns out to the one I would have got anyway (is half the price of the 4k and a fun thing for me rather than a serious toy). Was boxing day and there were a lot of staff vs. customers, also the TV section was a bit run down (quite a few turned off and missing TVs in the lineup).

    Service was good, we were greeted quite quickly, but this then turned sour with the lady making comments like "it's alright if you have money". She was rude, and lied about certain products, safe to say we walked out without doing business here and went somewhere else.
