   Having been a customer for many years I had a terrible experience in store in July. I had a complaint about a pair of trainers purchased before a 6 week holiday. I wore them once to travel in but had an issue. On return I took them back to the store and the women serving basically called me a liar, saying I’d worn them more than once. I had not but the way she spoke to me took me by surprise and made me feel awful. I subsequently complained to Ecco both about the trainer and the way I was treated. They no longer have a customer service dept. The stock answer is they will inform their design/manufacturer teams. I pursued the complaint about the way I was treated and was told the store manager would contact me. He did not. I chased again and was assured they would contact me a matter of urgency. They did not. I chased again and was told an area manager would contact me. They have not. I asked twice for a copy of their complaints procedure. This has not been responded to. There are other makes, equally as comfortable, better value and with better customer services. I will no longer purchase Ecco shoes. No wonder the Ecco store is nearly always empty.

   I had no idea that this store has closed. Travelled miles as it stated open online. Would have been useful to take the website down

   I have a number of Ecco shoes & have always been pleased with the quality and fit and the service received in Salisbury. Alas I recently had an issue with a pair of trainers and received the most appalling service, practically being called a liar! I had not seen this person in the store before. I was so taken aback. I couldn’t tracked Ecco Customer Service & can honestly say it is the most appalling service & response I’ve ever received from a company. They don’t even have anyone dealing with complaints. They just say it’s been passed to quality control & no further response is required. Mmm, I think there is & I have been following it up to insist on one. Something has changed with this company. They have definitely lost a customer. There are lots of other good shoe companies with the same or better price points!

   Going into a shoe shop with service & knowledge of the products made a change. Plus they seemed to stock the ranges I'd seen on the internet so plenty of choice. It was worth the journey.

   Came into the store to look for a pair of work boots for my partner. Anna gave us the most bespoke, personable and tailored customer experience I’ve ever had in a shoe store. She demonstrated her specialist knowledge and went above and beyond to try and find us a solution for what we needed. She was smiley, and attentive throughout and made us feel incredibly welcome. Would recommend to anyone. Their product range in this store is also amazing, I think I’ll be back for some men’s boots myself.
