    I frequent CEX wherever I go. I trade in with them and buy relatively often because of it. In recent years i’ve become more disaffected with CEX because the service and selection has decreased in quality. The staff here were different. They were very helpful. And their PS2 selection was remarkable! a pleasant experience.

    Busy store with 2 big trade ins ongoing whilst a queue formed and remaining staff floated around and no one served. Came back later following cinema to witness the entire staff be incredibly rude to a family trying to trade in a tablet - who had waited around for testing only to come back and be told they can’t take it as it has no lead. Maybe give the customer a heads up when it comes in? On top of that they laugh at the family when they walk away comment on how they β€˜wouldn’t have got anything for it anyways’. God forbid the little girl try to trade in her tablet for credit to get a game she wanted. To top it off, I’ve just gotten home to find the wrong disc in the case after waiting 5 minutes for it to be found in the first place. But if you ask the CEX Eastleigh staff, that would be my fault also. Do yourself a favour and skip this one if you’re passing through town. Order number: EK558077 Good luck with filling the store manager position. The team certainly needs it.

    Was told there were multiple issues with a boxed nintendo switch. It hasn't been used in months and has been boxed up, but we made sure it was fully charged and reset for sale. When we went to collect after testing they had a list of faults. Including "it's bent due to use". Took it to Cash Creators in Shirley today Completely different experience from service to decent, polite staff. The faults CEX found didn't exist. It wasn't bent. The only issue which we knew and is a known fault was the left controller slightly drifts. They tested the machine whilst i waited, it was done in front of me. None of this come back in an hour whilst we test it hidden away. Have always used CEX but will go to Cash Creators in future for selling. Your shops procedures and staff need reviewing.

    I had a highly disappointing experience at this shop due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Initially, I was sold a broken TV. When I pointed out the issue, the staff member falsely accused me of damaging it. Fortunately, I had recorded a video in the shop before taking the TV home, which clearly showed it was already faulty. After presenting this evidence, the staff member was visibly embarrassed but offered no apology. Instead, their attitude became rude and dismissive. I bought the Xbox that was also non-functional, further wasting my time and money .After that I replaced my xbox in southampton cex store. The staff’s lack of accountability and poor customer service was unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this shop due to their rude staff and defective products.

    Would not buy from this store!!! Rude little girl behind the counter with obviously no customer service experience and a so called manager who wouldn't speak to myself or partner about a phone we bought that didn't work properly, so we asked for a refund and they said no cause there's nothing wrong with it so in theory they stole our money. We will be complaining higher up and we will see what others will now say. But if u buy a product u should get ur money back if no longer wanting or if it's faulty.. I would never come to this store again and advise people to shop elsewhere.

    Really helpful staff. Bought a used graphics card to replace my sons faulty one. 2 year warranty and cooling off period. Used click and collect service and item was ready in an hour. Will use again

    really good service and friendly staff. Sold several spare phones to them. The staffs are capable of doing their job to checking, evaluating, and testing the devices. You will get money in pocket in about one hour and a half. Recommended

    Good selection of games and DVDS. Prices can vary from bargain to outrageous (looking at ps5 prices Β£500+ for a preowned is ridiculous). Same for controllers, ps4 controller used is Β£55, can get brand new for that...
