    I took my car for its free retest. I’d been told 4pm. Upon arrival I was told it was booked in for 4.50pm. I said that I’d come at the time I was told and that I would be waiting for it. No apology or explanation. When I returned at the allotted time, I didn’t know if or when they’d finished checking my car in. Ie not told how long it would be, whether I should wait, how they would contact me to say it was ready. I chose to stay in the waiting room. There was tea/coffee-making facilities, which I wanted to use, but had not been invited to. Plus the machine showed no signs of being powered-on. The remainder of the experience was fine. My previous visit for the MOT test was fine. It’s just the poor communication on this return visit that’s the problem. Staff were all polite and pleasant. Just the two in the reception area were lacking in customer service skill.

    We went to Halfords Hedge End to buy grandson a bike. The lady who served us was amazing very knowledgable and helpful. We ended up with bike, mudguards, lights, tyreslime all fitted and 12 month protection. Two days later we collected the bike and again she was so helpful and informative. We came away feeling very pleased with our purchase and delighted with such a great service. I may be wrong but I think she was called Lauren Certainly deserves a five star rating

    We arrivedaround 4.30 ish as i needed a new Battery for my Ford Kuga, it was cold and wet so i decided to get their fitter to put the battery in for me, and turned out that i made the right choice . Ben the guy on the line did a great job in the wet and cold, and so of course my battery didn't want to come out but Ben didnt loose his cool and triumphed in the end. Great job Ben and thanks for getting it done in rotten weather, first class service.

    Just wanted to say thank you to the really helpful staff who helped my son today. My son was riding to school when his pedal came off his bike. He decided to pop into Halfords to ask for help even though he had no money on him as he's only 12. There was a kind man and lady who looked at his bike and offered to fix it for him. He was panicking abit as he was running late for school and he suffers with anxiety. When he asked how much it would be? As he rung me to let me know what was happening and that I might need to come into the store to pay at some point today the kind member of staff told him it was free. He even managed to get to school on time as he was so worried about being late. I just wanted to say how grateful I am as his mum as this was such a lovely gesture. I've told him in the future he needs to just walk to school and push his bike and we can fix it later but I really appreciate this act of kindness. We shop regularly at Halfords in Hedge End and can't fault a single thing. Thank you again x

    Casually browsing through the store looking for something to purchase. I’m conscious of how I’m being watched by someone standing by the front door. Not a pleasant experience at all. So I left without making any purchases at all. Tell me, what is the social profile for a shoplifter…? Awful place. I shall be contacting the Head Office and reporting this store. Oh, and how many of these five star reviews are real????

    I called into Halfords yesterday for some new wiper blades. The gentleman who fitted them offered to top up my washer bottle with a solution to help keep the wiper blades flexible, at no extra charge. He then gave me the container he used, which was now half full, to keep for another time. Again, no charge. Excellent customer service. Thank you Halfords. I will be back!

    This shop is the worst in UK. All staff looks like theaf. Lie to customers, all of them no respect to everyone, no responsibility of the shop manager and technician. I buy a carplay in September, and installed on 26/10. Thay said that the no technician for doing that. 1.5 months later, they installed the carplay to my car, but I think that not complete. The manager and technician say that it is completed. And halford is provided a good service to me. I upload a photo to everyone see that what the company give me what service. That's why leaving two hole and the clock's time is not match.

    Took our bike to Hedge End store where we were extremely pleased and impressed with the service received there. I have to name drop the member of staff who served us (James) who was extremely helpful in fixing a difficult problem on the bike. His customer service and friendly nature where very much appreciated and he went the extra mile in helping solve the problem. Thank you!
